Betty stood in the kitchen trembling, with a knife in her hand….“stupid, stupid feelings! Betty sat in her chair, staring outside the window into the garden where flowers were in full bloom, the only thing she enjoyed these days, watching the flowers. It's been a week since Betty has left the hospital and all this while she has not left her bedroom, she just stayed inside avoiding any sort of human contact, especially that of Develin who has tried lots of times to come close to her but had failed miserably. Everybody had finished eating and the DJ had asked the couple to the dancefloor for their first dance as husband and wife. Under a huge applause, Devlin walked hand in hand with Betty towards the centre of the ballroom and waited for the lights to dim and the music to start. As the first tunes of a romantic song started, Develin grabbed Betty by the waist with eagerness and started to move slowly on the rhythm.
