Sicily, Italy
"What have you decided, Myra?" Lily asked in a soft voice in order to keep her friend's blood boiling in a cool state.
"Nothing as much, Lily. I can't believe this man. Being my biological father, he had never thought to take any responsibility for us. Now he is asking a 22 year grown up girl to go back to India with him? Am I kidding him?"
"Maybe he wants to fix everything. Maybe he is asking for your forgiveness and trying to ease the pain of you."
"By what? Taking me back to India, to join the circus there?" Myra didn't notice that Arjun had arrived behind her. When she found her friend suddenly silent, she barked in her face.
"Cosa ti è successo? Perché sei silenzioso?" (What had happened? Why are you silent?)
"Umm. Myra...Arjun è in piedi dietro di te."(Arjun is standing behind you.)
"Fanculo" (Fuck). Myra didn't expect Arjun to show up in the middle of the conversation. She should have talked in Italian only to avoid such situations. Lily is not an Italian. She is Spanish so mostly they don't use Italian while talking. She never felt that much embarrassment in her life. She slowly turned her head and put a small smile on her lips just to lighten the situation.
Arjun understood the situation and grabbed a seat near her and gave a big smile.
"I didn't know that you found us a part of the circus." The chuckle in his voice and pinching tone was enough to tell Myra the depth of the situation.
"Arjun I didn't mean that day. Look, I grew up here. I am completely from a different background with a different culture. I inculcate something really different from what you all inculcate in yourselves." Myra tried her level best to make him understand the situation.
"My dear sister, is that the only reason? Or you still hold the grudge on my father. I know deep down in your heart you won't be able to forgive him. But I hope your mom didn't teach you to let anyone die with guilt. I know my father made a mistake. Now he came here to correct it. Won't you give him a chance?"
Arjun knew that it is hard to accept such a person. He might not be able to forgive his father for his wrong doing. But he couldn't see his mother and father in pain anymore. Apart from that he didn't want her sister to also live alone without her family.
"Who am I to forgive him? Tell me? Who I am to go back with you to be a part of your family. I have my family here. And I have everything here. It's a far better place than yours." Myra emphasized on her last phrase.
"Until you are seeing the other part, how could you say that you have seen better here. And why are you asking this question of who you are? You are of course a part of the Solanki family. You have all the rights there." Arjun pressed Myra's palm while saying so.
"What about my rights that I had earlier? Didn't I have the same right 19 years back when I visited your place? Didn't my mom have the same right to be given the exact respect that you are ready to give me now? What made you change your mind set now?"
"Myra. My mom holds the same grudge as you on my father. My father tried to trace you both down after you left. When he realised his mistakes, it was too late. Since then you and your mother have been untracked."
With pleading in his eyes, Arjun poured his heart out.
"Sometimes a fraction of a second is enough to make a decision, Arjun. After leaving India, my mom decided to cut down every communication channel. She didn't want to be traced. Anyway, leave it. Have you ever thought what people would say there once I reach?"
"Since when you start bothering people. I thought you were brought up here and you don't have such thoughts." Arjun was surprised to hear the last sentence of Myra.
"Since then I have come to know that I have a genetic connection with India. Where people are more concerned about such things. Like whose daughter, when and where she is living or staying or from where it's coming."
"Oh, Myra. Did you do research on our dynasty?"
"Not exactly. But I was curious to know. Found out a few things about your Royal bloodline. But believe me, I am not at all interested in calling myself the princess of the Royal Solanki family." Myra was almost barking on Arjun.
Lily was silent. She felt like a third person or the judge of a judicial panel. Whose work is to listen and then give some statement? But she was sure that when Myra is in charge, then she is the one to judge the conversation and she would only give a statement. She always has this intimidating nature.
Lily cleared her throat to speak something when Myra gave a death glare to her and asked her, "What?"
Lily being startled with the voice took some time to compose herself. After that she spoke in her timid voice.
"Aren't we getting late for the trip to Positano? We are supposed to leave. It would take around 9 hours or more to reach."
In such a heated conversation she forgot that she asked Arjun to visit Positano before leaving for India. After packing some necessary stuff they moved out of the house. It was an 8 hours’ drive but Myra chose to take a rental car by reaching there. Especially to roam around the Amalfi coast area. Seeing Myra's driving, Arjun was quite impressed. He couldn't help but admire her.
"Your driving is really nice, Myra."
"Thank you Mr. would be King."
Myra was more comfortable with Arjun than his father Rana Pratap. Arjun, Lily and Myra decided to spend a day on the beach and took a small boat ride over the sea to enjoy a bit. Rana Pratap decided to stay back in his room. He was having his own thoughts. He knew the fight won't be easy back in India. People would ask when they would see an Italian girl as an elder heiress of Solanki bloodline. But for the sake of Legacy he has to do that. There was a time when because of this Legacy he was afraid to accept Minerva and Myra. But with the current turmoil he couldn't take any more risk. Sekhawat got their grip on Takht. In case they refuse to protect Legacy he needs someone to take over the power. In case Agnihotri takes charge things won't be easy. He has lost his faith in his own pure blood Ragini. The entire mess is actually risking many things. He is no longer interested in keeping Myra alone. No one should get her. Rana Pratap was planning his entire moves while looking through the window. The ambience was really nice.
Reaching the beach, Lily and Myra got busy taking a sun bath. They have visited Positano earlier also. For Arjun it was new. He was startled a bit seeing so few clothes around. He belongs to a very conservative family. He has visited different foreign countries and he knows about their cultures too. But still deep in his heart he is not very comfortable in seeing so many girls almost half naked.
He sat beside Myra and moved his face away as she was wearing a bikini too. When she left for swimming Arjun got some courage to initiate a conversation with Lily.
"Is she always like this? Carefree and straightforward? And obviously a living volcano."
Lily laughed at his question and replied.
"She might be a volcano, but she is the best girl I have ever seen. She grew up alone without a family, only with her mother. She studied hard to get her scholarship. She worked hard and for the past four years she managed everything alone. That's why she doesn't like the new concerns. She became hard due to the situation that she had faced for a long time. Maybe she thinks all of them are fake."
Arjun understood everything. Obviously a girl at her age has seen more than anything. When people were dating she might have been busy taking care of everything. Seeing someone close dying is really painful. Especially when he or she is the only person one has in his or her life. He was looking at the sea and said, "Does she always wear such clothes?"
Lily got confused with Arjun's question. Then she realised that being a brother Arjun was being protective.
"It's a beach. What do you expect her to wear? Traditional Indian clothes? Don't even dare to say. Remember, I knew Aunt Minerva. She always taught her that Men and Women are equal. So don't try to be alpha male. She might end up becoming a super alpha female." Completing her sentence they both burst out in a big laughter.
"What's going on here? Did I miss something?" Myra came back while making a question mark expression on her face.
"Yes. You just missed your friend's suggestions." Arjun said while laughing.
"Oh. Lily. Not again. Stop your psychological treatment."
"Ah. Miss. Moretti I didn't." Completing her sentences three of them burst out in laughter again.
After a long time she laughed. She couldn't deny the fact that her life got slightly better after meeting her family. She always has this dream of having a family. But now she doesn't know whether she should accept this happiness or not. Sometimes some happiness comes with a big price. Whether she is ready to pay the price or not she doesn't know. The day went well. The trip went well. It's time for them to come back to Sicily. She knew that, reaching Sicily, she had to make a big decision. A decision to go back to India. Even if it is about a few days or weeks, she has to step out of her territory to step into a different territory. Jaipur, India. Rajputana. History of different empires. She couldn't take it any longer. She shut her eyes in order to keep away those complicated thoughts. Her life is simple and better here. She always told herself. But this time she wanted to take a step to explore something new.

"Ranvijay beta, can you give me the blue file that I had given you. It has information about the upcoming shipment." Rajendra asked his son.
Ranvijay went to his room and started searching for the file in his wardrobe. He used to keep such files in his wardrobe that had information about underworld dealings. He couldn't remember exactly as things were piled up and he was working his ass off. Cherry on the cake is his marriage also. Lots of rituals and works were pending too. While going through different files an old small paper fell on the ground. He didn't notice that. Once he got his file and turned to leave Randhir entered his room.
"Bhai, I need to talk about Banshali's matter." Randhir spoke.
"Randhir, after sometime. Let me give this file to baba, we would talk about that afterwards." While Ranvijay started moving Randhir spoke, coming towards him.
"Did you drop something bhai? There is something on the floor."
Hearing Randhir's words Ranvijay looked downwards and found a small piece of paper almost the size of a photo there on the floor. Randhir bent down and picked it up and when he gave it to his brother, Ranvijay flipped it.
Ranvijay's eyes got stuck on the photo. It was not a paper, it was a photo that might fall from the wardrobe drawer while he was searching for that file. Randhir came hurriedly and he also froze on his position.
"Isn't it her picture? Do you still have it bhai?"
Ranvijay couldn't utter a single word. How could he forget that day, when this picture was taken? Arjun, Randhir and he himself were there in the photo. And one more special person. The owner of those two ocean blue eyes. Randhir couldn't believe that his brother still has this photo on his personal closet.
"Seems like someone might come back. Do you remember her?" Randhir broke his trance and spoke the words.
"How can I forget her? Especially those orbs. Myra Moretti." Ranvijay said and a smile curled up on his lips.
Sicily, Italy"Why do people say that Sicily is a dangerous place?" Arjun asked Myra with a question mark on his face."Well, because it is a dangerous place. It's the home ground of Italian Mafias and other dangerous people too.""So being in the most dangerous city, you don't feel scared. But you are afraid of going back to India. So contradictory.""Oh mio dio(oh my god). Arjun, it's not like that. I have grown up here. It's my hometown. And frankly speaking I haven't met any of the Italian Mafia. I never felt unsafe here. But considering India, well things are different there as much as I have seen through documentary films. I am not sure if they would ever accept me or not." Myra tried to make Arjun understand her situation and her reason behind being uncomfortable."Don't worry. You are my sister. Things will be super fine. Well, have you applied for a Visa?""Yes, tourist visa. Hope it will be
Myra shifted her gaze for the last time at her house before leaving. She stopped a lone tear from escaping from her eyes. She would definitely miss her city and her home. But if her mom were alive, she might tell her to do the same thing that she had decided to do now. Travelling back to India at least for once. After sharing her details and other information with Lily, Myra gave her one set of keys to her house to take care of. When Arjun took her luggage to move a black SUV pulled in front. A tall handsome man came out of the car and walked straight in front of Myra. Arjun was looking at that man along with Rana Pratap with a questionable expression."Salve, in partenza per l'India?" (Hi, leaving for India?) The man asked in a deep voice."Sfortunatamente sì" (Unfortunately yes). Myra replied.Arjun and Rana Pratap didn't understand much. Though Rana Pratap tried to learn Italian when he was with Minerva but failed miserably.Ar
Jaipur, IndiaSekhawat Palace"Bhai, have you heard, Rana uncle returned from Italy yesterday." Randhir informed his brother."Yes. I was wondering all of a sudden, why his son and he himself left India.""That's my question too." While two brothers were busy talking, Rajendra Sekhawat entered the room."So, my two lion cubs are busy getting answers to some questions. What are Ranvijay's questions Ranvijay?""Have you heard that Rana uncle went to Italy suddenly? His movements were always suspicious. Though he is marrying off his daughter to me, I know he always had his eyes on Takht."Ranvijay finished his words and looked at his father.A small smile curled up on his lips."Ranvijay, I believe you have got something really fishy. Nothing can actually escape your eyes.""Baba, you know me so well." Ranvijay smirked.Randhir was looking like a curious kid towards his brother."Bhai, you didn't tell m
"What's going on?" The owner of the voice was no one but Rana Pratap. Ragini was silent as she was afraid of her father. Mayabati was trying to form a sentence in her mind and Arjun was still searching in his mind the closest return flight. Myra took the charge in her hand and spoke in her usual calm tone. "Nothing as such Mr. Solanki. I was wondering how you would introduce me in front of your people." "As my daughter." Rana Pratap spoke in a tone that even Mayabati flinched at her place. Is he the same person once who denied to accept Minerva and Myra 19 years back? She was searching for an answer in her mind. "Will that be soothing for your so-called dynasty? Or will that be acceptable by the people present here? I might say that news can create havoc. Kindly look at the pros and cons before jumping down to any conclusions." Arjun felt his jaw drop on the floor. He felt like he was looking at some diplomat. "Is this girl even real?"
Myra came back to her room and decided to have a quick call with Lily and Ronan. Though she had dropped the text after her arrival, until she called them, they wouldn't be sitting stress-free. After having a full session of information exchange Myra felt a relief in her heart. Lily was in a full mood. "So, Myra, did you meet any handsome Indian man?" "Lily, let me give you a quick hint. Ragini is getting married without her consent. They have arranged their marriage. Now, do you expect me to jump in this shit?" "What? Myra. Really? Do they live in the Stone Age? I mean it's 21st century." "Well, physically they are living in the 21st century, but I believe their mind set is in the stone era." Both of the girls laughed out loud. After some more chit chat sessions Myra dialled Ronan's number. It's almost 11 p.m. in India so preferably it would be 6:30 p.m. in Italy. She knew that Ronan might be still in hospital but took a chance to talk.
Myra opened her eyes to have a look at her surroundings. It wasn't easy to handle such jet lag that she was having. It was almost 5 o'clock in the morning. She woke up and got freshen up. After some time she came out in her tights to stroll around the Palace. She started searching for a kitchen to have some coffee at least. But the palace was quite big and seemed like a maze to her. She was not in a mood to disturb Arjun. After roaming for around 15 minutes she decided to take a short morning run. As soon as she reached the gate, she found a few guards. Some were in semi sleep, some were not. She smiled and said, "Good Morning.""Madam ji bahar kaha?"(Madam, where are you going outside?). One of the guards asked. Myra didn't understand anything. She looked at him weirdly and gestured something with her hand that was not clearly understood by the guard at all. After coming out of the gate, she started walking towards the road. She remembered this road when she had trave
Myra decided to change her clothes before joining the lunch. After taking shower she looked at herself in the mirror. A 22 year old girl's reflection got reflected. A girl with 5 feet 11 inch height, ocean blue eyes, golden brown hair, perfect jawline and slim but masculine figure. People used to tell her that she is the mini version of Minerva. Myra sometimes thought in her mind, she really has very few features from her father Rana Pratap. Maybe only a bit of face cutting she has got. She wore a half sleeve t-shirt, with a black skinny jeans. She decided to stroll before joining the lunch.Ragini was walking to and fro in her room, looking at her phone frequently. Harshly gripping the phone she dialled a number."How many times are you going to ignore my call? Can't you meet me for once?""Why don't you understand? I was sitting beside my father in a meeting. How could you expect me to meet you before it gets finished?" An irritated voice fr
Sekhawat Palace Ranvijay sat with his father and brother in his study. Ranvijay looked carefully at the photos where Shaurya had been spotted with some weapon dealers. Randhir was busy getting other information. "What do you think about this?" Ranjendra spoke with a concerned voice. "Nothing as such. Buying weapons at this time is not weird, but the absurd thing is, without letting me know the dealer cannot sell those to Agnihotris." "The dealer is new, bhai. I checked it. Maybe he would inform us before finalizing the deal. And he doesn't know that we are keeping an eye on Agnihotris." "Good then, else both of them would suffer. But the point is that, Rana Pratap seems quite cold this time. What about our agreement Baba?" "He assured me to join my rally to make a strong appearance. After all they are the royal family Rajputana. Our party will benefit and we will get more seats in this election."

Nicolas faked an expression of pain while speaking."Shut up man.""Get your ass up girl. We are heading to Sicily. It's your brother's anniversary after all." 1 Year LaterSicily, ItalyArthur woke up in the morning. He was looking at the sleeping figure of Sylvia beside him. Her milky white skin was peeping through the duvet. Tucking the golden strand of hair behind her ears, he rested his back on the headboard. It's been one year since he married Sylvia. As per his promise to his sister Myra, he didn't keep Sylvia waiting anymore. She was the only person who held him tight during the most vulnerable situation. She had gone through a rough patch because of his uncertainty. But Myra was right about Sylvia. She is the best for him.Sylvia stirred in her sleep and slowly opened her eyes when she looked at Arthur."Morning." She whispered."Morning V." Arthur replied.Pulling her sleeping figure a bit she rested her head on Arthur's chest and spoke in a low tone."Missing her? I believe she is at her best wherever she is.""Yeah. I miss her." Some Deserted Place, Jaipur"Well well look who is here. You know what to do right?" Shaurya called Vivaan who was just waiting a bit away from the place. As per Ranvijay's call he was supposed to be the backup but as per Shaurya he was supposed to shoot Ranvijay and Randhir. The car stopped just a few meters away from the place where Shaurya was standing. He was expecting the slender figure to appear but to his surprise two men in black with dominating features appeared. They came out from the car while putting a small smile on their faces.Once those figures appeared in front of Shaurya his eyebrows frowned a little."Shocked seeing us? Are you expecting someone else?" Ranvjiay spoke looking at Shaurya."Nice game Ranvijay Singh Sekhawat. I thought your pretty little wife would be entertaining me. But not an issue, I would prefer to be entertained alone after killing you." Shaurya spoke in such a shameless manner that even

Myra was speaking furiously after watching the news broadcast."Here comes again the Italian ghost from my wife." Ranvijay teased Myra when he saw her chanting different things in Italian."Jay, it's not a joke. Currently exposing any of our family members in such a large gathering is a fool's idea." Arvind had lost the election following his power and influence. Shaurya had been already in the hit list. Now with the rising power of Ranvijay they were already cornered."First I need that girl, Myra. Sekhawat Palace, IndiaVivaan came down to Rajasthan after Myra and Ranvijay paid a visit to Mumbai. That was a grand entry for both of them. Once his health news spread like a fire, the alliance in Mumbai reached a separate level of happiness. Nobody came to know that it was Ranvijay always behind Myra as a shadow. Since she took the power in her hand those initial days were tough. Even though the leaders were ready to follow his commands, the subordinates still had a negative impression. With time they bowed their heads in front of her wits, appearance, functional ideas and dominance. They couldn't deny one single fact that Ranvijay really got a perfect and equivalent partner for life.Shaurya's movements decreased and that made Myra more worried. Every big storm always comes with surprising silence. Arvind came down to Sekhawat palace to wish them but back in his mind he was dying to murder every single existing member of Sekhawat family.
Sekhawat PalaceFour pairs of eyes were glued to the television screen only, where a live session of counting vote ballots was going on. Myra was least bothered about that. She had a gut feeling that Rajendra's party would win following which a perfect position would be offered to him in ministry. Even if by any means his party fails to win, Ranvijay would anyhow kill Shaurya. They had their plan sorted perfectly with each and every step. Ranvijay and Randhir were busy making different phone calls whereas Myra kept on doing her casual work. Rajendra looked at his daughter in law with the corner of his eyes. She looked bothered and calm but only her son could guess what exactly she was planning. After three hours of counting Rajendra was leading with 23000 votes. Arvind was lagging behind but two major blocks were left. There was a high chance for Arvind to cover up the gap.In the meantime Ranvijay's phone started ringi
Almost One Month LaterRanvijay woke up from his sleep only to find Myra snuggling in his chest. Her silky locks were scattered all over her face. The calmness on her face was telling last night's story. She was a kind of drug to Ranvijay that he couldn't deny or ignore. The little hickeys on her milky white skin were peeping in front of his eyes. Locking some strands of her hair behind her ears he placed a forehead kiss on her temple. For the past one month they had gone through a lot. Continuous encounter with Shaurya's men, his secret killing and many more. The rallies went well along with the other voting agendas. In the mud of dirty politics Myra kept her clothes clean, god knows how.It was him only who jumped on Myra last night. Keeping fresh meat in front of a hungry lion if someone tells you not to eat, it doesn't make any sense. Same went with Ranvijay too. Myra was lying beside him when he finally reached the bed after so
Mumbai, IndiaA female entered in a board meeting room dressed in almost black. Her black boots made enough predatory sound to catch others' attention. Roaming her eyes around every corner of the room she looked at the big decorated chair placed in the middle. Walking straight towards that she made herself comfortable after sitting on it. Surrounded by numerous men of different age and their questionable facial expressions she raised her hand forward to speak."Speak what you have in your mind."The room felt dead silent. One woman among 15 men, the scenario looked way too weird for everyone to handle. People started staring at each other's faces before bringing out their words. None of them actually thought the situation was realistic. They all had heard of recent changes in the Indian Mafia segment but the moment they saw her, they were shocked to their core. A girl of merely 24 or 25 walked inside the most dangerous room filled with some dead
