Chapter 66 George’s offer

Sensing his anger, I want to provoke him more. I play my part, pretending to be scared and vulnerable, clinging to the stranger. The man also hugs me tightly, his expression hardening.

"Move aside," he says.

George doesn’t pay attention to him. He is solely focused on me, his eyes burning with a mix of fury and possessiveness.

"Vivian, come here," he growls, his voice a low, dangerous rumble.

I shake my head and hold on tightly to the man beside me, fueling George's anger even more.

The stranger, too, is visibly displeased, refusing to let me go.

"Vivian…" George grits his teeth, his face red in anger. "Leave that man right away," he commands.

"Hey… Why are you yelling at her?" The man barks. "She is with me tonight. If you are interested in her, you can take her tomorrow. Now move."

George’s attention turns to the man. In a flash, he swings his fist and hits the man in the face, knocking him unconscious.

I press my hands over my mouth, looking at the man lying motionless on the floor
