Chapter Nineteen

Leah made her way to the clear located in the center of Ray’s pack territory and landed a few feet away from where the magnificently decorated tables were set up. There were a lot of people present already. People were dancing to the music that was playing over the loud speaker and she could see little pups running around, weaving in between and underneath the tables. She could hear their excitement as they noticed her and ran over to greet her.

She quickly shifted to her human form with a smile and began greeting them back, giving hugs to the pups that asked for one. They were a friendly bunch, that was for sure. Leah had expected a small amount of reservation from the pack at first. She was, after all, a stranger to them and not a wolf. But, to her surprise, she was welcome with open arms by everyone. She received lots of complements on her dress and how pretty she was. She was really used to all the praise, so she just smiled and thank them with a blush on her face.
