Brianna's POV
Evelyn and I have been really busy with paperwork at my dad's office. I can't believe there is so many boxes of paper to sort out....paperwork that hasn't been filed and properly filled in.
The numbers make no sense, and everything is making me so confused.
I decided we should take a break heading back up to my place. I had Evelyn drive back home in her car while I stopped to get food for us. When I got to the dinner, there was alot of the girls that had been rushing for that alpha nu whatever they call it sorority.
Kaitlyn was being really rude to some of the girls but i decided to stay out. It was their choice to get into this sorority thing, so i guess if they endured it, it's because they want to.
I quickly walked towards the register. The waiters were already getting to know me, so I placed my order hoping to receive my food quickly so i can get out.
We let them have their moment. When the time came, they had fallen into a state of comfort. He looked so happy and pleased from her presence. They decided to go back to her hotel and spend the night there. He'd decided to call his Sergeant in command to let him know of his new situation and settle as to what would happen next for them.We said goodbye, and I walked back towards the kitchen. I thanked everyone for all their support tonight. Everytime I glanced at Jake, he'd give me a bright smile.... his beautiful signature smile I loved so much, but at this time..... it hurt like a bullet wound in my heart. We walked out towards the car as I let everyone finish their task and assured them they'd get an extra bonus for making things come out so perfect for Zach and Samantha. They looked genuinely happy for it.We got in the car and drove back silently. Awkwardness filled the air between us for the first time as I glanced
Evelyn's POVI woke up this morning expecting to see an always so cheerful Brianna to be up and about like always. Thinking she had coffee and breakfast ready like she usually does.Except, she's not up. Hell she hasn't even left her room. I figured she probably stayed up late or.... she's probably in there with Jake(wink wink) I know these two are messing around... I mean, the walls are not that thick. I know when he's over.I know they are sleeping together. I'm not judging... they are good together. They bring the best out on each other. But. I know her stubborn ass. She'll never admit that she is seriously falling in love with him. Everyone can see it.Can you see me rolling my eyes right now? because I did. I hate, that neither one dares to admit they are messing around.I decided to go check on her. I had already gotten dressed with my blue jeans and light gray sweatshirt sin
Brianna's POVJake and I made our relationship officially that night of the opened mick. Giving each other the chance we had for ever long ago dreamed of. He went and talked to my mom and Phill, called dad and talked to him asking for his blessing. Don't ask, it's a country boy thing... a really special tradition I love they have.... to ask for a blessing on a relationship.Last we drove to his house and went to Craig and Lorraine, his parents. She hugged me and looked at him hitting his hand, when we gave them the news."It's about damn time Jay...." She scuffed at him.Guess my brother was right, everyone was able to see how much we both meant to each other, except for us. We were finally taking a risk. A risk to finally love each other in front of everyone.-----October arrived, and the hot weather finally decided to say goodbye for good, giving wa
Carissa's POVJeremy opened the door to the car for me and we took off on the direction of my mom's house. She lived in a small two bedroom house right by the dinner. It wasn't much, but it was good enough for us both.Rugged old porch, but the flowers were always adorned around every corner. She loved to sit up by the porch on quiet days along with a good book and a cup of coffee. She was special to me.... and although technically she was my aunt, she was all I had besides Jeremy. She was my momma! She earned that title long-lost ago.He parked the car, placed it in park as he turned off the engine. He got off and ran to my side to help me out the car."Easy, be careful babe. Let me give you a hand." He stretched out holding me as if I was a porcelain doll."Jeremy I can do this myself, I'm pregnant, not handicapped." I demanded.

Third person POVBack at the lake house Brianna and Jake were getting ready for bed. She had her low cut spaghetti strap nightie that barely came down her bottom. With slits on the side, exposing her matching silk thong in navy blue, without a bra. She sat at her vanity combing her hair as Jake came out the bathroom wrapped in a towel, his body still full of water droplets running down his chest. He opened a drawer at his side of the bed and pulled out his boxers, dropping the towel and putting them on.He knew Brianna liked to keep the place tidy. He grabbed the towel off the floor and placed it on the door hinge inside the bathroom. He came back out closing the door behind
Brianna's POVI woke up early next morning. Jake was still sound asleep. Laying on his stomach. I leaned forward giving him a kiss on his cheek. He had a light stubble growing and made my nose tickle when I leaned forward to kiss him, making me sneeze as it tickled my nose.He was perfect.... His hair a ruffled mess. He kept complaining about going to get a hair cut, but hadn't had time to go to the barber in a while. I didn't mind, the ear length hair made him look pretty sexy to me. I ran my hands through his hair, interlacing my fingers through his soft brown strands... he muffled in his sleep, I could see the small grin creeping up in his lips as he stirred there gripping the pillow with his hands. I love him, he was perfect.I went downstairs to get breakfast started, turned on the coffee machine and began to cook for both of us. I decided on an easy task, bacon and eggs. I turned the fire on, placing a skillet on top, c
Brianna's POVChristmas day was here, I sat by the fire place in Jake's home next to him. I missed sleeping here to wake for Christmas day, last time I spent Christmas here was the Christmas before I left for college.I missed how beautiful his home looks around this time. White string lights and decorations past down from generation to generation. Mistletoe hidden in different corners of the house. The fire lit in the warm fire place where we both sat.His dad and mom were in the kitchen being all lovey dovey, while they finished Christmas breakfast and sipped on their coffee.Jake sat on the floor with one leg bent at the knee, the other tucked under playing his guitar that was looking a bit runned down. I kept laughing because it kept on tuning out. Bringing my hand to cover my laugh. He kept blushing saying he needs to buy a new one, or fix the strings. I honestly didn't mind... he still sounded amazing.
Third person POVSpring semester had sneaked in on them. Carissa's stomach began to grow, just a tiny little bulge... barely noticeable. Making it rather visible to the others nevertheless. She indulged in the beauty of the thought of motherhood. Her hair was silkier, skin radiant and glowing. Her nails kept growing at a rather speedy rate. She'd taken the task to talk to her cheerleaders and announced that although it saddened her, she was leaving the cheerleaders team. They cried for a bit, and said their goodbyes , but they knew it was for the best. Her appetite for sweetness was too much for Jeremy to withstand. The once endearing thought of coming home to his darling girlfriend baking was an exciting matter. Marbled cupcakes and fresh made red velvet were his favorite. But now, it was one matter that at this point was becoming rather undone of. He was becoming far over it."Carissa babe, don't you thi
Ten Years LaterBrianna's POVI have been incredibly busy and nervous today. Aiden just turned ten years old.....TEN! Can you believe that? Why are my babies growing up so fast? My baby girl Emily just turned eight herself in late August. For a while when I was pregnant with her, I thought she was going to be born on my birthday. But, she was born a week after mine, on the twenty-first.Though their birthdays are not the reason why I am completely nervous. But rather because Jake has something planned for us this weekend, doesn't want to tell me, and I am now preparing Aiden and Emily's bags to travel with Grandma Loretta and Grandpa Phill to California to visit their godparents, Aunt Evey and Uncle Matt. They have never traveled anywhere without me or Daddy... So that makes me so nervous. On top of that, Jake told me to pack warm clothes and nothing more. Saying he'd take care of the rest.I make my way to the living room, bags in hand. "Ok Loretta, please... Make sure Aiden eats and
Third Person POVBrianna stood before the body-length mirror. Her hair floods down beautifully in loose curls. Evelyn tried to pin her veil delicately on the back of her head. She shivered with nervousness. Her eyes threatened to become glossy, as she tried to fight back the uncontrollable urge to shake her whole body. The pit of her stomach feeling butterflies mixed with the sudden kicks from her little one was not the best combination at this time."Hold still will you?" Evey glared annoyingly at her."I know... I know I'm sorry. I'm just so nervous right now Evey. What if he gets cold feet? What if he says no in the end? Or what if he never even makes it to the""Stop it Brie!... you're getting way ahead of yourself. He'll be there.... waiting for you to make your way down the aisle." Carissa reassured her.She makes her way to her, her little tiny baby girl Zoe wrapped in a cute fuzzy lavender blanket. She could hear as she walks to Brianna. Brianna's gaze softens as she takes the
Third Person POVBrianna stood before the girls...Her baby bump was all she could think of. It made picking out a dress harder than she thought. There was no way she was going to postpone the wedding now. Not when it was just a few months away.Jake had taken the task of giving her the dream wedding she wanted. Whatever it took, no matter the cost. He just wanted her to remember that day as one of the most precious, romantic, unforgettable nights of their life. She had already tried on three gowns, but they were either too tight on her belly or just didn't quite suit her.Evelyn tried to calm her down to no avail. It's not like she was a bridezilla, but more that she wanted that perfect dress to make the perfect impression on him. While it was true, once she walked down that aisle, all eyes would be on her... but she only thought walking down was the beginning of her happily ever after with the man she was deeply in love with. Her best friend, and soon-to-be husband. She had explained
Jake's POVMid-June (Graduation Day)I stood with Matthew, Caleb, Jeremy, Carissa, and Vanessa. I was a nervous wreck. We were in front of our seats, waiting to hear the end of the speech from our headmaster and preparing ourselves to walk towards the stage and receive our diplomas. There was numerous audience in the stands, but my mind was only set on one beauty up there. My soon-to-be wife, Brianna. She has been the biggest support for me this year.I never thought I'd be graduating with her by my side. If I went back to the beginning of this year and had been told she was going to be coming here, I probably would have been really excited ... but wouldn't have believed it.She makes me happy. She knows what ticks me off, what makes me smile. I don't think anyone in this world knows me as good as she does.*****We all took turns on our graduation walk and shook hands with the dean, headmasters, lead staff, and numerous teachers. When it was my turn, I could hear a heap roar of people
Brianna's POVI'd have to admit... when I took the decision to come back to Tennessee this school year, I never thought that my life would make a complete turn on me.I had my mind set, to come here and take over dad's vineyard. Maybe have the chance to spend time with Jake and my brother along the way.It never crossed my mind that Jake would actually love me like he does now. I've always been deeply in love with him, and I feared that coming here would end up in a broken heart. My mind often wondered off thinking on what it would be like to actually be considered his girlfriend. But then i'd bring myself back to reality, knowing the possibility of him having someone else in his life was there. The possibilty of me coming here and finding he had someone else he was in love with. For a while I really believed it... specially when I met Kaitlyn. She was beautiful, with her lo
Brianna's POVIt's been a good three weeks since Jake got out of the hospital. I've been taking care of him the whole time.He acts like a big ol'baby because he wants to do things on his own. But gets irritated when he's unable to.We stayed in California for two weeks after he was discharged. Finally, a week ago, we were able to comfortably drive back home. It was a really long drive back, but I loved every step of the way.I fussed and turned all the time, since I'm a good fifteen weeks pregnant now. My stomach is not so big, but it does get uncomfortable to sit for too long. And because of the accident, Jake has become more over protective with me.Despite the fact he can barely move, since he still needs to take it easy on his foot, but he still wants to walk around and do things normally. There's just no stopping this man."Jake, sot your ass dow
Third Person POVThree days after Jake had woken up, officer Torres was notified of his status. He was the police officer who was assigned to Jake and Caleb's case. The drunk driver that hit their car had fled the scene. Which made the case much harder to solve. There were two cameras that had recorded the scene, but it was far too blurry to make out the license plate. They were able to track down the man's address and work location. He was an elderly man, who struggled with alcoholism for years. He'd given up in life, given he'd lost his wife to breast cancer five years back. His kids were grown, moved out and had gone on with their life careless about how their father was.Needless to say, he suffered from severe depression. He never ment to cause the accident, everything that day for him had gone completely wrong. He'd gotten close to getting fired, another guy had messed up at work,
Matthew's POVI've been out in this lobby for five weeks now. Can't seem to focus on everything around me. My best friend is in there in a coma-like state, and my little sister hasn't gotten out of that room next to his side unless she gets dragged out by Evey.I never thought I'd see the day when I'd actually miss the two walking out together hand in hand.My sister rarely smiles, the only thing that seems to brighten her day is when we ask her about the baby.Needless to say, I am even missing Jake's though stubborn ass attitude. Regardless of how serious he is, he was the one that held us together as a team.Coach and the guys have called several times to check on him. But no changes have come up to now. All his wounds have healed, the doctor was saying his arm and leg cast may be taken off in two more weeks. But I just don't get it, why he isn't waking up? His CT scan re

Hope all is well, love you, take care, stay safe.😘🌸❤♡♡♡♡♡♡♡Brianna's POVToday marked our third week of our stay in this hospital.I sat at a table inside the hospital's cafeteria. Evelyn sat across from me. My brother had stayed behind to sit next to Jake while Evelyn dragged me down here to eat.I glanced at a small speck on the table, my mind completely spaced out. My right hand placed on the table in front, between myself and my plate, the other pushing my food from one side of the plate to the next with my fork.I can hear Evey
