Rain's Point of View

When I went to the living room, I found my daddy and Migs talking at the mini bar counter.

Doctor Migs immediately smiled at me when he saw me come out of Ali's room. He even raised the sandwich in his hand that looked like it came from my mommy's delivery. I just nodded here. It walked closer to me.

"I'll just go see Ali."

"Okay." Dad left us.

Daddy turned around and looked at me seriously. "Rain, is what Ali said true?"

I nodded and sat on the high chair. "Yes, dad. Why?"

It didn't answer immediately. He nodded slowly then came closer to me. He put his arm around my shoulder before speaking, "Rain, I know you know that we are not against whatever you and Ali have. Actually, we are even reassured now because we know that Ali will tighten your security even more," he said. "But Ali's job is not easy."

"I know that, daddy. To be honest, I'm worried about him."

My daddy gently patted my arm. "Even us, but let's just trust him, okay?"
