José said with a glad smile on his face, happy that both Erik and Jake were alive, alas, still separated. But now that Jake had come looking for him, that was no longer an issue.

Jake couldn't help but be emotional. Although he had felt scared and betrayed by Erik, wishing the younger brother of his had never left him alone to die back then in the hands of hunter Logan,Jake was glad that he had made that call in the end as now they had both come oit alive.

José seeing Jake's expression didn't try to intervene or say soothing words to comfort him. He just smiled wryly at Jake whom he pretty much considered his son. He let him deal with his heartfelt emotion
