A stitch in time

Startled and shocked at the sudden unexpected break of the sturdy metallic door, everyone in the place paused and instantly became alerted.

The guys who were around me instantly froze and looked towards the door that had fallen to the floor, expecting someone to step in. It couldn't be that the door had fallen on its own right?

Seizing the chance, I instantly hurried myself away from their grasps. Looking at them as they exchanged baffled glances, they seemed apprehensive of whoever was behind what had just happened and were at alert.

I wasn't any different from them as I looked towards the door... What used to be the door at least. A streak of tears still ran down my face and I hurriedly rearranged my dress.

These bastards were so close. I could still feel their grasps on several parts of my body but that wasn't the problem at the moment.

My heart was still banging in my head and I couldn't help but hope that someone was really here to help me out.
