She has been dependent all her life and only now she is realizing...her life is just getting worse by the day...She was lost in her thoughts and didn't realize she was already crossing the road. The car sound pulls her out of her thoughts and immediately, she steps back...she was lucky to have escaped death which was just an inch from her.
