CHAPTER 43 - Vulnerable

"I had resigned myself to never trying to escape because it only cost me more. I sat still until you saved me." I said directly to my mate and she stared at me in surprise.

"I saved you? How?" Reign asked.

"This is the second time you are giving me another chance at life" I smiled, took her fingers in mine and kissed them lovingly.

She had indeed saved me that night. I had barely realized until recently during the surgery at the hospital. The more the little girl called out to me the clearer the similarities became.

Looking at Reign now I pieced together the pieces. Comparing the images from my memory to the image before my eyes.
