CHAPTER 22 - CHANGED

REIGN'S POV

The sun was out and shining bright, birds could be heard chirping melodiously too, it was morning already when I forced my eyelids open.

I wrapped myself underneath the duvet when I realized I was in Zephyr's room, his masculine smell intoxicated me as I tossed and turned on his huge king-size bed.

“Would I see you when I return?" Zephyr's voice cut through the silence, startling me.

I looked up to find him fully dressed and I furrowed my brows in a frown.

“I have to be at the office early,” he clarified my confusion.
