CHAPTER 122 - Familiar, not Family.

I resigned to my fate and finished my food since I had no intentions of ending the life growing within me.

The others excused me as well as I was left alone for a while, sulking and reminiscing on my plight, a familiar scent hit me. I was free but I didn't roam my prison cell, I just stayed in a corner and nursed myself.

"I can't see her," a familiar voice that I easily paired with the voice sounded through the silence of my cold prison cell.

"Scared as a cat, surprising yeah?" Hrigh replied as he flashed a blinding light in the cell, blocking my vision. I put my hand over my face and shielded my eyes from his flashlight.

Hrigh's companion laughed, he was probably excited to see me locked up once again.

"Good one Alpha Hrigh but she barely has any use to either of us anymore." He said so casually and I gasped at his meaning.

"What do you mean?" Hrigh asked seeking clarity.
