"No but human ways are quite bizarre and stupid sometimes, they invite a lot of people to their interviews with the intention of only hiring one of them," Medusa said and continued. "They ask a lot of questions in interviews; they even ask for a portfolio." She said.

"A portfolio? What’s that?" Lucinda questioned.

"It’s more like a CV." She explained.

"A CV?" Lucinda asked feeling extremely dumb.

"It means curriculum vitae; this is a document that has everything about an individual and also contains their skills and abilities to impress the interviewer," Medusa said

"So how do I get a CV?" Lucinda asked.

"You can get it in a cafe," Medusa stated.

"Can you take me to a cafe so I can get one done?" Lucinda inquired.

"Of course, let's go." Medusa said, ready to walk to the door when Lucinda spread her wings and flew out of the house through the roof in the blink of an eye. "Holy shit!" Medusa exclaimed. "She will come back." She added standing with her hands on her waist. Lucinda flew

Her body was shivering with every passing vehicle. All the fear left her when she saw a little child around the age of four trying to cross the road too. Her pupils expanded in amusement as she spotted the child; it was her first time seeing a human child. She ignored Medusa and ran to the child on the other side of the road."Hi there, little one, do you want to cross the road?" she asked the child, who just nodded his head and looked at Lucinda, who was overwhelmed with joy that she was talking to a mini human. "Alright, I will help you." Lucinda assured the child and carried him in her arms, trying to cross the road with him with a determined look on her face. Medusa just stared at them with wide eyes. The cars on the road did not stop for anyone, and the road became slightly clearer. Lucinda quickly dashed into the r

I took a taxi to the legendary creepy human company. The taxi driver stopped at the front. I handed him the bill I took from Medusa and stepped out of the taxi I was about to go when he called out to me and handed me another dollar bill. Is this human dumb or what? I reluctantly took the money from him and put it in my bag, staring at the building while the taxi drove off. I inhaled and exhaled before walking over to the security guard. He tossed me a curious look."Who are you? Do you have an appointment here?" He asked in a serious tone."No, but I am here for the job interview." I replied. "Hold on." He said and took a small piece of paper and a pen from his pocket; I could see that it was a list of people's names and faces, and he then looked back at me."I don’t think you are here for the interview... your name is not on the list," he stated bluntly. I didn’t know humans were so strict. I tried to force my way into the gate, but he pushed me out.I tried again, and he pushed me

I killed a very important person. The way he was describing his boss, he must really be powerful, and I will be his mortal enemy when he finds out I killed his friend. It gave me goosebumps just thinking about it.He led me to a big office that had a name plate at the door. He opened the door wide for me to enter, and I entered the huge office with him. The office was beautiful, the blue interior design was blinding, and we both stood in front of the desk that was in the middle of the office. The marble floor was spotless."The chair is empty; where is the boss?" I asked, staring at Mr. Josh, who lifted his chin and pointed at the desk. I was startled as I saw a gorgeous man sitting behind the desk; I was sure he wasn’t there before. He wasn't a god, but he should have been. The lush, mother-lode-gold hair he groomed so carefully had a rippling quality. His only blemish was that he was beetle-browed.The aquiline nose he sported complemented his prominent cheekbones. Don’t tell me she is your girlfriend." His deep and thunderous voice was the only thing they could hear. The dragon rested his eyes on Lucinda."I brought your food as usual; you talk too much. She is my new assistant, the person who will be serving you daily." Ralph explained and looked around for the small bag that contained Deacon’s food before dropping it in front of him.
