Taking advantage of their friendship

" You look more handsome when you smile " she said looking towards her and then instantly looked outside the car as she was blushing when she complimented him. 

" You are giving me a compliment. Thank you " he said while still driving and he had a smile on his face. 

" I am doing both " she said looking towards him raising her eyebrows with a smirk

" Both? " he said being confused looking towards her and then fastly shifting his gaze towards the road

" Yeah. I am complimenting and picking out a fault also " she said looking towards him and smiling

" Nobody is perfect " he said looking towards the road and focussing on driving

" I know but it's not bad to smile or laugh" she said looking towards him smiling

" Are you okay? " he asked this question so that she would stop talking about all this. 

She became silent and started looking outside from the car. 

After some seconds she look towards her hands that are paining a lot and then said " Yes I am okay " with a fake smile which she only know that is fake

After 15 minutes, they reached Lilly's home. As Lilly was getting out from the car Ashton stopped her

" Wait a minute " he said and then look towards her hands

But she thought that he was looking towards his own coat that she was wearing so she said " Oh! Your coat I'll give you "

" No. It's okay " he said nodding his head in a no looking towards her

" Thank you " she said while giving his coat back to him

" You take this. Put this on your wounds before sleeping " he said giving her pain cream so that she feel relieve with the pain

" Thank you " she said with a cheerful smile while taking pain cream from him

" Bye. Good night " he said with a biggest smile on her face

" Bye. Good night " she also said with a bright smile and then went home. 

Next day, 

Lilly went to her office. 

In the office all were talking about last night's incident. She didn't feel ashamed in coming to the office, if someone feels to assume it will be Mr. Lu Han. 

Lilly's boss called her so Lilly went to his cabin. 

She knocked on the door . 

" Come in " Mr. Lee her boss said while working on his laptop

" Sir you called me " she said looking towards her boss

" Yes. Do you know CEO Ashton King? " he asked her looking towards her and stop the work he was doing

" Yes sir " she said without any hesitation looking towards him

" How? " he asked her, raising his eyebrows in disbelief as he is the biggest CEO in New York. 

" He helped me once sir " she said looking towards him and remembering the day when he first helped her from those guys and smiled remembering that day. 

" He helped you in the past also? " he asked looking towards her, raising his eyebrows. 

" Yes sir " she said looking towards him, confused as to why he is asking so many questions about Ashton. 

" So if you asked him for a favor he will not deny? " he asked her with a smirk looking towards her

" Favor?" she asked him, being confused, what he was talking about. 

" Yes " he said looking towards her with a mischievous smile

" What favor sir? " she asked her being impatient to know about all the things he was thinking

" You have to ask her to work with us " he said with a smirk as her plan got accomplished for working with the biggest CEO of New York and from whom he can have a lot of benefits. 

" But sir........ " she started to deny his boss' proposal. 

He cut her off in between and said " I had prepared all the things. Go, meet him and tell him about our proposal. I know he will not say no to you " he said in a order tone and with a smirk

" But sir........ " she again started saying.

Again he cut her off in between and said in a high pitch " It's my order. Just go "

Then she went outside from the cabin being pissed off and angry. 

Afterwards, she went to Ashton company. She was standing outside the company seeing the big and tall company from outside. The company was very big. 

Then she entered the company. There she talked to the receptionist about her appointment. 

As soon as Ethan gets to know that Lilly has come here he quickly goes to the Ashton cabin. 

" Ashton? " Ethan said entering in the cabin and standing in front of him

" Yes " he said, still reading the file sitting on the chair comfortably crossing his legs. 

" Lilly is here " Ethan said looking towards him and then sit on the chair crossing his legs

As he heard, he closed the file and put it on the table and focused on Ethan and said " What? " 

Ethan nodded his head in agreement looking towards him with a smile

" Someone again hurt her " he said angrily and went to stand up so that he would beat the person who hurt her. 

Ethan fastly stop him from doing anything bad and said " No "

" Then why she came here? " he asked him being confused and sit on the chair making all his focus towards Ethan

" She came here for the office purpose " Ethan said looking towards him and then laughed out loud

" What are you saying? " he asked being confused and sitting comfortable on the chair

" She came to cooperate with our company " Ethan said to him looking towards him being confused himself

" So it means she came here because of her boss " he said looking towards him with a smirk

Ethan nodded his head in agreement

" It will be fun, " he said and then laughed out loud. 

Then say " Let her wait in the meeting room for sometime " with a smirk

" And you will see her from the camera sitting here " Ethan said looking towards him raising his eyebrows and smile

" You are being smart Ethan " he said and then they both laughed. 

Ethan went outside from his cabin and sent one of the employees to talk to Lilly. 

" Mam sir has said that you go and wait in the meeting room " the employee said to her

Lilly nodded in agreement and then went to the meeting room. 

She first saw the whole meeting room and then she started going through her presentation once again. She is waiting there from 30 minutes 

After 5 minutes more went, Ethan came there. 

" Hey " he said, looking towards her and standing on the door. 

" Hey " she said looking towards him while sitting on the chair

" Someone again hurt or disturbing you " he asked her going towards her

She nodded her head in disagreement

" Then what happened? " he asked her sitting on the chair beside her

" I am here because of office purpose " she said looking down towards the file in front of her

" But according to my information you are the secretary of the CEO so how can you give the presentation? " he said looking towards her mischievously and confused as to what is the real purpose of her being here. 

" I do multitasking work, '' she said, looking towards him and then laughed out loud. 

He also laughed hearing this and then said "Don't joke "

" I am here because of last night incident " she said and started looking down as all the memories from the last night came again in front of her

" Interesting " a voice came in between their conversation. 

They looked towards the way from where the voice was coming and they saw Ashton standing there. 

" You are looking sad " Ashton said while sitting on his own chair mean boss chair folding his legs

" Can we talk about business? " she said looking towards him being straightforward

Ashton nodded in disagreement with a smirk

" But why? " she said raising her eyebrows being confused

" Because I don't want to. So, you are talking about last night's incident. Tell me also " he said looking towards her

" What? " she said being pissed off as he doesn't talking about the business

" Whatever you are telling Ethan " he said looking towards Ethan and then smile

" Can we talk about business? '' she asked him again hoping that he say yes for it

Ashton nodded in disagreement

" Please " she said looking towards him with a begging face
