CHAPTER 45
When the queen of witches visited me, she brought me the news that she has been hiding for a year. Her news wasn't something horrifying nor bad, it was a good thing yet it made me feel conflicted and scared.
THE DAY THE QUEEN VISITED
"I came here to personally tell you what I haven't been able to confess until now..." Said the queen.
"What is it?" I asked with a frown.
"I couldn't tell you before because everything seems to be going well, but since it's come to this, I have no choice but to tell you the truth."
The queen paused for a second and took a deep breath. She stared into my green orbs, fear showing in her eyes and she finally took the courage to speak.

VANESSA'S POV I woke up in an unfamiliar room with only a blanket, a pillow, a washroom, and a toilet.
