Chapter 44. My own private Jet

''Can I borrow your laptop?'' John asked Adrianna. 

Adrianna raised her one eyebrow giving him a questioning look. 

'' I want to update my resume and go job hunting. As a man, I wish to be the provider, not some servant, stay at home maid!!!'' John answered convincingly as he waited for her response.

Adrianna simply pointed to her desk. She was still swarming inside from excitement of yesterdays news,trying hard not to divulge her secret. John could see the war that was raging within her , in her big honey brown eyes. He quietly sat at her desk and stuck in his usb editing his curriculum vitae. He did not have much to go by, just a few odd delivery jobs and administrative duties, but atleast it was something.
