Chapter 114. still not settled

The three men walked into the station and into the interrogation room. The light of hope in Patrick's eyes dimmed. The couple were still bickering. The stopped when they saw the three men at the corner of the room. Jefferson looked like a rat compared to his wife.He cowered in front of her. Patrick felt sorry for him. It was indeed his fault for raising them to make their every decision rebvolve around business. Even their own private lives they have sacrificed unknowingly. He really regretted his decisions he had made with them, for them and the ones he supported them in, especially their wives. He wished that they had fallen in love like Peter, but even then Peter had revolved his head around having a son to be a heir. He had treated the woman as if they were mere objects and therefore he had driven his own son to hate his daughter. But it was never too late. Wht little time he had, he would atone for his sins.
