I CAN'T LET YOU GO

Elena sighed without giving Kyle a reply; the last thing on her mind was food.

The fact that she had spoken about her past made her remember things she didn't want to, and she already began to feel sad.

Kyle, who was still sitting beside her, waiting for her to say what she wanted to eat, noticed her silence. Minutes passed; ten, and then fifteen. Seeing that Elena wasn't still speaking, Kyle turned to stare at her.

He wanted to ask her if she wasn't hungry, but then he saw tears dropping from her eyes. He was surprised.

"Elena, what is it? Why are you crying? He asked."

Elena wiped her tears, saying, "It's all your fault for making me speak about the past."

"I'm sorry, I'm really sorry."

Kyle moved closer and wiped the tears from her eyes. As she stared at him, she noticed the mark he had earlier shown her on his face where she had slapped him, and she sniffled, "Umm, aren't you going to do something about your face? It's going to leave a scar."

"I did get a balm," Kyle said.
