Chapter 107: Confronting her

DAMIEN POV

Today was messed up, I barely got any work done, and that is because I couldn’t stop thinking about the kiss, and too scared out of my fucking mind to call Kamaria or pick her calls. Maybe if I don’t pick then it wouldn’t be over, that is what I keep telling myself.

Now I am at home playing my hand at working to see if it can help me stop thinking about her. Not helping, neither the four glasses of brandy that I have taken.

I heard footsteps approaching before the door opened. “I am not hungry,” I said without lifting my head.
