He spends a couple of hours on his desk, trying to figure out what the best challenge to offer to his seven remaining contestants would be."So volleyball is the first cchallenge, and the second one is hide and seek, where I'm the seeker." Keith starts to talk to himself. "There was supposed to be a third challenge, but someone brought one of the communication devices. Hey, I know it's been a two years since the last update and I would like to apologise to keep you waiting. I lost a motivation to continue this novel so I abandoned it. Does this mean the novel might be incomplete? Absolutely not! I'm going to finish the novel this year, I just went to self care journey with my mental health. Not those shity self improvement where I need to wake up 5am or something like that. But now I find my motivation to finish this novel that I start. Kathy went into shock as soon as the host finally removed the mask. The host congratulated the remaining contestants, but she noticed one of the contestants went missing. "Congratulations to the remaining contestants." The host congratulated them as he removed the mask, revealing himself. "As a celebration of surviving five weeks, we will hold a celebration on next Saturday, no deadly challenge. Now, let's go back to the assigned house, shall we? The screen went black for a moment, then a word suddenly appeared for five seconds before it went to a static mode. 'Have you checked the notebook already?' Today was the fifth challenge, which took place at the stage where Max Moyer and Humero Lozano died. The six remaining contestants looked at the ball that was placed in the middle of the stage. Everyone was confused for a moment, but the host decided to explain the challenge for today."Today's challenge is the supposed third challenge, but due to the incident, I decided to continue the third challenge instead as a fifth challenge. As you can see, the contestant must grab the ball and hold it while the rest of the contestants try to steal it. Whoever the person is who held the ball as the timer ran out, will be saved from elimination. There will be only ten minutes before the timer runs out. "Good luck to everyone."The host positioned the contestant on the left side of the stage while he put the ball on the right side of the stage."Ready?" Ever since Agatha's car exploded, she hasn't visited the police department for a couple of days. Kathy finds it to be good news, but she can't help but wonder too. Everyone noticed that Clyde hadn't left his room ever since Humero was eliminated. Of course he is still mourning, yet it's been three days since he hasn't eaten or taken a bath. They all gathered around in the living room to comfort themselves for the upcoming challenge. "Should I take a look at his room?" Calvin asked his fellow contestant. Everyone looks at each other as they wait for someone to respond. "I know he's been mourning the death of his loved one, but he hasn't left the room for three days." "Wait," Eshal said, "I thought I saw him take a dinner last night." "But that was three days ago." Calvin corrected him. "Taking a bath?" "Still three days ago." "But you visit him in the room." "Yes, but that was still three days ago." Suddenly, he stood up, causing everyone to look at him real quick. "I'm going to check him again for the moment, guys. I'll be right back." Everyone is at the cemetery where Jeff's wife and his only child are buried. He can't help but cry as he completely regrets his decision. Not the decision in which he killed his wife, but the decision in which he watched helplessly as his daughter was rammed by a random car. Thankfully, he was apprehended and taken to jail, but it's still useless to him because she died by the end of the day.The police didn't put Jeff in jail, thanks to article 247. He took a slow look at his daughter's coffin in the hole and dropped a red rose at her. Next, he went to his wife's grave where he threw a black dahlia and went back to his position as if nothing had happened. Kathy wants to talk to him, but she's too anxious to speak up, especially since it's not a good moment. They watch them dig the grave silently. As soon as the grave was finally set up, the people who attended started slowly leaving until Kathy and Jeff were the only people left. Kathy swallowed her fear and decided to walk up to him.
