CAROLYN

Danny blew at the amount of his still smoking gun before making his way to the fallen woman. He bent to his knee and picked up the falling phone and looked at the screen. 

" Fuck! " he cursed seeing the ongoing 911 call. He needed to leave this place before the cops arrived. 

His dull cat eyes looked around sharply if he left anything incriminating. Nothing. He tucked his gun back into his jacket and made his way out the door, passing the cleaning crew on his way out. 

The two men sent by the Corps were thorough and before the cops arrived had the whole place sterile clean with no trace of Karen's body. 

Back at the police precinct, Carolyn was neck deep into another case unrelated to the index case she was walking on. She looked up from the file when two of the policemen that shared the office with her and her partner stood from their seats. A short black man and his slightly taller white partner. 

" Where to? " Max asked
