Everyone was shocked when the fact was confirmed by Sia herself. Louis felt the world closing in on him. Everyone's eyes were filled with hate now, while they glared at Lara.
"WHY LARA? WHY DID YOU DO IT?!" Mrs De'souza screamed at Lara, asking her about the reason for betraying them all like this. She had started crying unconsciously. Her one daughter had ruined the life of another daughter and contributed in the downfall of other two important people in her life.Lara raised her head slowly. She was tired of always being the villian of the story. She couldn't bear the hate in Mrs De'souza's eyes. She didn't have the right to hate her. She looked back at Jack who was emotionless just as her, " Bring it Jack! It's time now!" Sia simply ordered Jack and looked at all the rest of them, who were looking at her with pity in their eyes. They all looked lifeless. They all looked like people who had lost their will to live. Sia averted her eyes away, focusing on the Eiffel Tower painting that was hanged on the wall. Emily's face showed up in it and whispered, "Everything will be alright, Sia!" Sia felt a breeze passing by her and she shook her head. She was drowing in illusion again. But she couldn't help but want to get lost in the maze of her mind, to find peace for sometime. She wanted to save them all from this grief, the feeling of being betrayed by someone they loved dearly. She wanted to save herself from the pitiful look in the
AUTHOR'S POVSia crossed the corridors and reached her room in a hurry. She opened the door and stepped inside, before closing it behind her. She didn't forget to lock it, as she didn't to see anyone right now. She supported her back on the closed door behind her and sighed, rubbing her temples. Her legs gave up and she ended up sliding to the floor with a thud. She didn't have any energy and it was getting hard to breathe for her.Why was life so hard? She often found herself asking this question, but no one was ever there to give her any answer. She grabbed her head in her hands and took deep breathes. The fading lights of the day peeked through the glass wall. Sun was going down, bidding it's farewell to the world, giving way for the darkness to conqeur once again. Darkness that was scary and hypnotic at the same time. Scary because of
AUTHOR'S POV~FLASHBACKAfter crying for almost an hour, she forced herself to get up. She hissed in pain and looked down at her knee which was bleeding. Her whole body was aching in pain, but she couldn't stay here anymore as it was getting colder just as the night was approaching and her old tattered dress was not helping in warming her up much. She grabbed the pieces of her coloring book and started limping towards her room, which was fortunately not shared by those bullies but by those who were weak just like her. She reached her room limping somehow and sighed in relief seeing it empty. They all must be out to play! She thought. She limped towards her bunker bed and slumped down on it gasping at the pain that shot through her elbow when it came in contact with bed. She rotated her arm a little and to no one'

The winter has come again with its bone chilling coldness and snow that fell heavily freezing everything and everyone. It was Sia's favourite season, because she loved snowfall. AUTHOR'S POV “ We are going to marry next week. ” Hardin dropped the bomb on her and Sia's jaw hanged low in shock. Now, this was what they called going overboard with everything. Sia thought and whipped her head around to argue with him again when his hands made their way to her sides for the second time. “ Hardin Please. Listen to me. ” Sia placed her hands on his wet chest and sighed. Hardin's hands paused, his eyes assessing her expressions. “ I am listening. ” He smiled, pushing Sia's hair behind her ear softly. Sia heaved a heavy breath not knowing what to say to him. She did not know why she still felt so scared of everything. “ Don't you want to be with me? Don't you want everyone to know that we are married? ” Hardin whispered, his eyes noticing her expressions that changed to one of horror. “ No. No. It's nothing like th

Sia's hands shot up to her mouth to cover it as a gasp left her lips. AUTHOR'S POV Sia turned around in the bed, her eyes opening. She did not know when she fell asleep and woke up just now. Yawning, she focused on the figure laying just beside her with his arm draped over her waist protectively. Her hand reached out to brush off his bangs away from his eyes with her fingers gently as he sighed in his sleep. An unconscious smile was tugged up at the corners of Sia's lips. Her thumb slowly drew circles on his cheek with her eyes taking in the sight before her. She had never thought that it was possible for Hardin to love her. It all felt like a lie at first but the sincerity in his eyes and the determination in his voice drove all fear away. Now there was only him and there was only her. Nothing else mattered. Atleast she could try thinking like that but she still had a hard time adjusting to this new thing. She pushed herself off the bed as she grabbed her clothes to wear them.

AUTHOR'S POV “ What? What did you say? ” Hardin shook his head, his heart pounding in his ears. He was wondering if what he heard was really what she spoke just now. “ I will stay. I said I wil-will stay. ” Sia immediately changed her statement, her cheeks starting to heat up. She had never said I love you to any man before and she felt like she did something out of the world just now. His shocked eyes were making her breath hitch. “ You said something else. ” Hardin's eyes darkened as a smirk tugged up at the corner of his lips. He knew that she confessed to him just now but changed her words instantly after that. She felt awkward but he would definitely hear it from her. One way or another. Sia pulled her hand back feeling nervous and turned around to march closer to the pictures that were hanged on the wall. Her hands were trembling at her side,
AUTHOR'S POV “ You! You will come with me. ” He grabbed her wrist and started dragging her back inside the mansion as Sia let him take her, feeling dumbfounded. What was Hardin doing? Sia wondered but could not find the answer to that. She guessed, she would find out in a while. Hardin dragged Sia to the room on the upper floor which was his as she recognized instantly. The combination was maroon and black. It gave off an eery vibe just like his personality. He pulled her inside and closed the door behind them smoothly with a click. Sia took in the interior of the room. There was a huge king sized bed in the middle with black sheets and maroon duvet and pillows. Sia's eyes conveniently left the bed and stopped at the wall beside it. Her breath hitched when she noticed alot of pictures hanged on the wall. Her pictures. She had never seen them before though. AUTHOR'S POV “ I am going to leave now. ” She whispered and looked up in his eyes that were open now as his heart dropped down to the pit of his stomach. “ What do you mean by this?! ” Hardin pulled away from her and asked in a cold tone as Sia gazed up in his eyes thoughtfully. “ What do you mean by leaving?! ” He asked again with hysteria clear in his eyes. Sia heaved in a heavy breath before grabbing his hands and pushing them off her arms. She looked in his eyes for a moment before replying in a determined tone. “ I am going to take Emma and I am going to leave from here. I am going to go somewhere far from here. ” Hardin's eyes went wide realising what she was hinting at. She was talking about leaving him. She was telling him that it was over between them. It was over before it even started. “ No. No! You can't do that! ” He growle
AUTHOR'S POV Sia embraced Emma closer not knowing what to say as a lump formed in her throat immediately. Emma placed her head on her shoulder and did not say anything else either. Sia's eyes travelled upto meet Hardin's baby blue orbs that were already staring at her with an unrecognizable emotion shining in them. “ I won't cry if you won't cry. ” Emma sniffed after a while and pulled away wiping her eyes with her small hands. Sia grimaced as she averted her eyes back to meet Emma's eyes that painfully reminded her of Emily's eyes. “ I won't cry. ” Sia shook her head as she pushed the tears back, looking at her. Emma pulled her closer once again and sighed out as Sia felt her heart hurting more. She was just a child yet she was like this. Emma pulled away instantly and her eyes shot up to meet hers. “ Will you play chess with me? ” The same excitement shined
