AUSTIN. By the time we reached the building where the cells were, Randall’s cuts and wounds bled from being dragged. He had been apologizing from the very beginning until he just shut his mouth. He probably realized I would not stop hauling him, even if he apologized for the sins of the world. Alpha Jace was waiting outside the building with three warriors. The moment I shifted into my human form, I was given shorts to put on. The warriors with him immediately took the chain that held Randall and helped him up on his feet before they took him to the cell assigned to him. The cells he would be given were new. It was a clean one and had a one-sided mirror like the one you would see in an interrogation building. We later found out that when I took David, he was asked to accompany Lexi in here, so once Lexi drove back with him, he would take them directly to Crescent Moon. They wanted to hold David hostage to make sure Lexi would do their bidding. It was a blessing in disguise that I didn’t allow Randall to take her back to Bernice City, or they would just fall exactly into Gray’s trap. After I reentered Lexi and David’s lives, Randall was not asked to return to their pack and was just advised they would call him if there was any need. But he was given instructions to keep communicating with Lexi, thus the visits and the messaging, even when I was there in Bernice City.
