Margot couldn't argue over Curtis. Whenever he said it was okay, she believed it to be true and agreed to everything.

The two of them went out together. Margot dropped Curtis off at the company first, then drove to her pizzeria.

They were each busy with their own affairs.

They only went together to pick up Lilac at the Crosby residence in the afternoon. After picking her up, they sent her back to the pizzeria.

At 6:00 pm, Natalie, along with Benjamin and Tommy, arrived at Margot's pizzeria on time.

She didn't bring her parents over; they thought it was a gathering of young people and politely declined.

Calvin was also there.

When Margot led Lilac and Curtis into the pizzeria, the waiter immediately reported, "Boss, your friends are already waiting in the private room."

"Okay, got it," Margot replied and led Lilac towards the private room.

As they walked, she asked, "Lilac, are you excited to see Benjamin soon?"

"I'm excited." Lilac smiled and let go of her mother's hand, spin
