Upon the mention of Tammy, Margot's true character surfaced. After all, Tammy and Margot were bitter enemies.

Unable to tolerate Curtis any longer, Margot stormed upstairs.

As the warm soup landed on Curtis' face, the absence of scalding heat was a relief, but the lingering greasiness remained, making him uncomfortable.

A suffocating pain gripped his chest as he watched Margot ascend the stairs. He couldn't quite comprehend himself.

He pondered why he had intentionally upset her when he knew it wouldn't bring him any relief. It was evident that he still loved Margot, treating her with care as if handling a priceless jewel.

So why couldn't he restrain himself? Why did he have to rile her up?

Setting aside his utensils, Curtis remained seated for a prolonged period before eventually rising to go upstairs and change his clothes.

Margot barricaded herself in the room and furiously smashed objects around her.
