Chapter 278

Margot went back and slept for five hours. It was already 5:00 pm by the time she woke up.

Curtis continued to stay in the room instead of going back to the office. He did not bother with Gabriel as well.

He was afraid that Margot would be agitated when she woke up and couldn't find Natalie.

Margot sat up and saw Curtis sitting on the lounge chair on the balcony.

She stretched herself as she asked, "Why are you still in the room? Aren't you going to work today?"

Due to Natalie's divorce, Margot had taken time off from university. She wanted to spend more time with Natalie and Benjamin.

Curtis closed his book and got up while answering, "I didn't go."

He walked over to the bedside and asked her, "Are you awake yet? Do you want to get up to eat?"

Margot shook her head. She was looking everywhere for her cell phone.

She said, "I'll ask Natalie if she'd brought Benjamin back home already. I'll eat at their place instead."

She found her phone and was about to call Natalie.
