It was only then that Tommy came back to his senses and released her. His burning ears made him squirm uncomfortably.

Tommy said, "Have a seat. I've ordered a few dishes, see if you'll like them. If not, we could just reorder something else."

"From now on, you're my number one savior. Just let me know if you need me to do anything. I'll go through hell and high water for you!"

Tommy lowered his head as he laughed softly.

He then picked up his cutleries gracefully to place some food onto Margot's plate. His gaze was gentle as he looked at her.

He responded, "I'm not asking you to go through hell and high water for me. I hope you don't mind me asking, but how did the matter between you and Curtis go?"
