Lena still felt a bit upset whenever she thought about Anthony. She didn't want to mention that person—she just wanted to spend some peaceful and carefree time with Branden here.

"Master, when did you take in these disciples? Why haven't I heard you mention them before?" Lena changed the subject.

Branden casually ate his meal while replying, "Over the past year. Each of them has had a tough life. They are either homeless or suffering from serious illnesses without money for treatment. Upon seeing how pitiful their situation is, I've simply brought them all up the mountain."

The abbey had been uninhabited for many years and was in quite a dilapidated state. With so many disciples around, Branden managed to get a lot of repairs done. So, living here was pretty good now.

Lena knew that Branden was the kindest person in the world. She couldn't help but secretly glance at him again. The more she looked, the more she found him to be just like a young man in his 20s.
