I looked closely at the book. What Cassian showed me was a map of Maximilian's kingdom printed in a book. The page referred to a famous town known for its alcohol production.

"Devannia?" I asked after examining the book. "Do you want me to go there?"

Cassian nodded briefly. "If you know, we can go there now."

"For what?" I asked again. "I don't see any benefit in stopping by that town. Unless you want to have fun there."

"Devannia is the most frequently visited city by Alphas from any colony in the world," Cassian said. "By going there, there's a good chance you could gain new insights into the perpetrator of the virus spread."

I wanted to protest Cassian's sudden decision.
