Chapter 154

There were about 20 people dressed in office clothes sitting on the floor with their hands behind their heads. For every two people, there was a guard standing behind them with a SMG pointed to their head. The guard Theo and her had come with was knocked out cold on the floor. 

Eden's eyes scanned the room to find Bennett, and when she did, her heart felt a flutter of relief to see that he was fine. He was sitting on his chair behind the desk, with his hands behind his head. Carter was standing behind his chair, resting his elbows on the headrest. Two men stood behind him who were also heavily armed. 

Carter pointed a gun to Bennett's head which sucked the soul out of Eden. She realised it was the same gun he had used to kill Aliana.
