A week later…

“Come here, I won’t bite you,”

I saw the innocent girl did not move when she entered my apartment, she just lowered her head and occasionally adjusted her glasses that had slipped from her tiny nose.

“What do you see down there? Am I there? Come on Rosie, I won’t eat you alive, at least I have to kill you first before eating you,”

That statement made her lift her head and stare at me with her wide eyes, she couldn’t possibly think I was a cannibal, right?

“What? Do you believe I would do that to you? I’m still normal you know, and I’m Sarah, I’m sure Jodie has told you about me, and why are you here, right?”

Again the girl just nodded before lowering her head, I don’t know what she saw down there, but it was enough to annoy me.

“Rosie, you better not make me mad or I will literally eat you alive, come and sit here, make yourself comfortable,”

Rosie came over to me and sat in front of me, she looked awkward, her eyes trying to avoid my gaze, she should be lucky if someone wanted to help her.

“Speak, I want to hear your voice, you haven’t said anything when you came,”

“I’m Rosie, 20 years old, and—”

“I know about that, is there anything else you want to share with me? We’re going to be living together in this place so it’s better to be open and share our lives, do you know why I asked you to stay here?”

“No,” Rosie said, very short and cold but this time she dared to look at me, she was pretty enough just needed a little change.

“Oh really? Okay, listen to me, I will ask for your help a lot but don't worry it's not free, we will use each other, you can stay here, and use all the facilities, cars, money and other, you just need to tell me and you also need to help me with the things needed,"

"But why did you ask me to stay here? You don't know me, what if I just take advantage of your kindness?" Rosie said.

"Do you think this is all because of my kindness? No Rosie, I need you to do something, but I can't just tell you like that, we have to get to know each other first before starting,"

"What do you mean? I don't understand," Rosie said.

"Well you will understand as time goes by, now I just want to know your background, Jodie said you lived in an orphanage before and they just threw you away, what was their reason for doing that?"

“It’s because of my age and no one wants to adopt me, I’m not perfect anymore, my stepmother sold my kidney when I was little and put me in front of an orphanage, I was only 5 years old at that time, I was well cared for at first but everything went wrong since many complained because of my condition, people who want to adopt a child want a healthy child not a disabled child like me, and when they thought I could make money, they kicked me out,” Rosie said.

“Do you still remember your stepmother’s face? I think all stepmothers are annoying, they’re just cunning bitches who come from nowhere,”

“Of course, I won’t forget that face when she left me alone, but no one knows where she is, I tried looking for her at the police station but they didn’t find the person I meant,” Rosie said.

“Listen to me Rosie, you don’t need to look for her, now you only have yourself so you have to prove to yourself that you can be someone successful in the future, I will guarantee it,”

“Why?” Rosie said.

“Why? Why would I guarantee you?” Rosie just nodded.

“That’s because I have a reason why I asked you to come and live with me, when I saw you at the cashier’s desk I was sure you were the right person to help me, do you have any skills?”

“Skills? I’m good at using computers, when I was in the orphanage I hacked an account belonging to one of the adopters,” Rosie said.

“Hell, where did you learn it? I thought you were just an innocent orphan and… yeah sorry for misjudging you a little,”

“It’s okay, I enjoy reading and watching movies I just did it as I learned, I didn’t think I could do it either,” Rosie said.

“Cool, I think you’ll be very useful for my mission,”

“Your mission? What do you want to do? You already have everything, I guess,” Rosie scanned the room with her eyes before dropping her gaze on me.

“This isn’t all mine, I was just asked to use everything left here to take my revenge,”

“Your revenge? wait, are you trying to use me for…revenge?” Rosie said.

“Yeah but no, I mean, I’m going to use you but not directly, don't worry I can guarantee your safety and you don't need to worry about it,"

"Is this very dangerous? Why are you talking about my safety? can't it be resolved at the police station?" Rosie said.

"Oh this young girl, there are so many questions from you, you better clean your body and rest, Jodie told me you didn't need to come to work this week, you just need to do something for me,"

"Okay," Rosie said, I took her into her room, and let her rest there.

I've been free for a week, but it feels like there is still something restrained in my mind, the pain is still very much felt and it's disgusting every time I remember it.

Arthur, that bastard must have forgotten me by now, I'm sure he doesn't remember a girl like me once filled his days for 5 fucking years, I also don't know what he's doing now, and who is his new pet.

I wonder how he will react after seeing me released from prison, if his life is happy then I will be the one to make him suffer, no matter what, he is still my husband by the way, I never signed anything about our divorce, so no one should take that position until he kneels before me just like I did 10 years ago.
