Aurora's POV“Uhm, excuse me?” I asked, mustering the fakest innocent look. But he wasn't buying any of it. “You're dead.” He stated bluntly.I raised an eyebrow at him. “Who the fuck are you? Do I look like a ghost to you? I don't even know the fuck you're talking about.” I lied through my teeth, folding my arms across my chest. He stared at my face for a moment. I faintly heard him murmur to himself. “Am I seeing things?” He asked himself. “Yeah, you definitely are. You can't just go around stopping random people and claiming you know them. Sounds like a creep to me.” I scoffed, as I attempted to work away.He sniffed the air. “You're a werewolf.” His words didn't sound like a question, it was a statement.Well I guess he got me there. “Obviously. Do you expect all wolves to know you? I haven't fucking met you in my entire life.” I said smoothly. Lying was a pretty easy thing for me now, seeing that I've been living for the past seven years in a lie. My name, my true identity, eve
Aurora's POVI watched in pure horror as Maximus continued throwing punches after punches at Rostov. But what shocked me the most was Rostov's reaction to everything. He just stood there with a crazed expression on his face but he didn't even attempt to fight back. I didn't know if that made me feel better or worse. If anything, he looked unaffected.“Max, stop!” I yelled as I attempted to get him off of Maximus but he didn't bulge.I looked up at Raphael and gave him a pleading eyes.He walked towards the two and gently touched Max's shoulder and he immediately calmed down. Raphael stepped in between the two, slightly pushing Maximus away.Rostov grinned with bloodied lips as he cleaned invisible dust from his shirt. He folded his arms, “Are you done? Because you hit like a bitch.” He wiped the blood from his mouth and looked at it with a gleeful expression before slipping it into his mouth with a pleased moan.“A vampire?” Maximus said in disbelief as he stared at Rostov with widene
Dominic's POVA lone figure stood in the corner of the room. The afternoon sun gave a perfect view of his perfectly chiseled jaw, he was staring out the window as the sunlight illuminates his face, but despite his phsicsl appearance, his expression was grim and his eyes are cold and unemotional. This expression had never left his face in the past seven years. He'd never smiled or showed any other positive expression over the years. His ruthlessness was what worried the entire pack, he showed no mercy. And he kills out of instinct. “When you are done staring at me, Dominic. You can as well get out.” His deep velvety voice echoed throughout the room, not looking in my direction. “My apologies, your highness. What I came for is rather important.” My voice suddenly gree serious. What I had seen last night had shocked me to the core. If I hadn't made physical contact with her, I would have thought I was hallucinating. But she was real. Very real. “I'm in no mood to have a conversation

Dominic's POV Kaizen flew from his seat as soon as the words were out of my mouth. His body shook as rage radiated off of him in waves. “Don't. Don't you ever fucking mention her name again. What stupid stunts are you trying to pull? I will not tolerate such nonsense, friends or not.” He growled, jabbing a finger at my chest. I wasn't going to let this go. At least not yet. “What the hell do you think I would gain by making such expensive jokes? I'm fucking serious. Aurora is alive. I fucking saw with my two eyes.” “Bullshit.” He took the bottle of whiskey from his desk, and took a large swig, not even wincing as it burned down his throat. He swallowed and looked at me with stern eyes, I could see the storm of painful memories swirling in his eyes. “I do not wish to have this conversation with you anymore. Get out.” He gritted out, pointing at the door. I stood my ground. “You have to believe me, Kai. I saw her, Aurora is fucking alive—” Without warning he threw the bottle at the
Kaizen's POVExactly nine hours later, our flight landed in Sicily. It was still afternoon so we decided to book a hotel we'll be staying in, then at night we would set out to the club.Seven years. It's been seven years since I've smiled. Seven years since I had a purpose in life. Life was pretty meaningless to me now. The only source of redemption the moon goddess blessed me with, she also snatched her away from me without remorse. Arriving in Sicily, I still found it hard to believe that Aurora is alive. It wasn't possible. It just wasn't. And I would be glad to prove him wrong on his assumptions.Dominic and I walked into the hotel lobby, tired from a long day of travel. We approached the reception desk and asked the receptionist if they had any available rooms. The receptionist probably took our question the wrong way as she took that as an opportunity to openly flirt with me. The receptionist, a young woman with red hair and bright red lipstick, looked me up and down and smiled
Aurora's POV “Are you sure you're going to be okay, Rose?” Maximus asked for the umpteenth time today, his tone filled with worry. “Of course, I will. I'm not a child, you know? I can take good care of myself.” I laughed, exasperated. But he clearly didn't find it funny. “It's just that, we've never left you all alone for that long, I can't help but be worried about you.” Maximus said with a sad frown. “How do you think I've been coping for the past five years before I met you both? I'll be fine, Max. You need to relax and enjoy your vacation for the next one month.” I said, patting his shoulder with a smile. He looked unconvinced. “But, that's different—” Thankfully, Raphael cut him off before he could finish his sentence. “Leave the poor girl alone, Max. I trust her to take proper care of herself and you need to do that too.” Raphael stated in a firm voice. Though, Maximus was the older one, one could easily detect that Raphael was the dominant one in their relationship and it
Aurora's POVI rushed into the changing room and jammed the door, locking it abruptly. I placed my hand on my chest as I tried to calm my racing hand.Shit. Shit. Shit. How the fuck did Rostov get false information? It was clearly a big fucking mistake working with them! They just ruined all my plans.I rushed and started putting on my clothes. I needed to get out of here as quickly as possible. There was a rapid knock on the door as I was buttoning my shirt, making me freeze. I clamped my mouth shut, trying not to let any sound slip out of my lips.“Aurora? Aurora are you in there?” I breathed out a sigh of relief as soon as I heard Elaine's voice. I quickly opened up the door for her and locked it back as soon as she was in.“Aurora. What's going on? I saw you run from the stage like someone was hot on your tail. You haven't even performed for up to thirty minutes! You ran like you saw your psychotic ex or something.” How do I explain to her that it would have been better if I had
