STUPID SENSE

AZALEA'S POV

"Kai what are you doing!, get out!." I manage to order, but it did nothing to help.

"Why, I've not had my fun yet." I walk backwards, putting distance between us. "You know, I've always thought of what your skin would feel like in my arms, those perky breasts in my mouth…….." He laughs in a diabolical way, I've never heard before, pushing his brown hair out of the way, I walk away with each step he takes towards me.

"Kai, you're drunk and in my room! Get out, before you do something stupid." I shout, by now, all sense being quiet and respectful out the window. But he doesn't listen.

"Kai, stop right there, I'm going to shout!."

"Of course you are, when I show you all the pleasures of the world."  In a swift movement, he is right in front of me, his hands on my neck, I try to run, but he's fast, I reach for something to hit him with, my eyes dilating as he restricts my air flow. His hands begin to rake my body in a very, very disgusting way, I manage to pick a pen holder and hit him with it, right in the eye and then I scream out my lungs.

"Mom!......."

He reach for me again, trying to stop me from screaming, I scratch his face with all the strength in me.

"Shut up!." He growls, his wolf completely taking over, he flings me across the room like he did my bed sheet, my scull almost split open, my eyes cloud for a bit, black dots appearing in my vision, but I see him making his way towards me again, I scamper to my feet, charging towards the door, but I never make it. He grabs me again, pulling me with my clothes, I hear them rip.

I try to kick him, screaming, I grab unto the door handle, but Kai pulls my feet dragging me back into the room so that the door handle tear through my skin, before he can do anything else, dad rushes in to pull him away from me with a resounding slap.

"Azalea!." I hear mom cry out and feel her hands around me almost immediately, my face moisten from tears already falling without realizing. I open my eyes, to see mom, dad, and a few maids, mom pulls me to my feet, and we hurriedly leave the room to theirs.

I hear my dad shouting and the sound of something crashing, Kai says something and another slap shut him up, I try to listen, but mom closes her door, putting a chair behind it to hold.

"Baby, I'm so sorry." She turns to me, her face already damp with tears. "I'm so sorry you had to experience that in your own home, I'm…."

I take her hands and shake my head, in an attempt to stop her from blaming herself for what Kai did, but with tears in my eyes, my clothes ripped and blood on my palm, did no help.

"I failed you Azalea, I promised to protect you and I failed."

"Mom, no you didn't, it not your fault, he was drunk." I try to reason out, even though the words felt like poison on my tongue.

"Don't blame his actions on alcohol, Azzy, we both know he can handle his alcohol, he will receive full punishments for this, I will not spare him at all, and I don't care if he's 80 years old."

Chills run down my spine at her words, mom's usually the chill and laid back person, but we all know better than to set her off, she's if not worse than dad.

"Go take a shower, I'll tell Camren to get you new clothes." She says before I can retort, leaving no room for argument. Nodding, I do as she says.

The next day, mom and dad don't really say anything to me, other than Kai was taking a trip for a while. I know that decision was definitely related to what happened. I pass by his office before Kai left and listen in on their conversation.

"She is your sister Kai!, how could you even think of doing such a thing!, have you no self control?!." Dad screams at him.

"She's not my sister dad, we all know that, Eloise and Alexa are, but that freak!....." He doesn’t get to finish as dad lands him another hard slap. My heart breaks, not knowing Kai thinks this way of me, or maybe I was aware and just ignored it.

"It happens a lot dad, in other packs, cousins are mates….."

"But she's not yours!." Dad shouts again.

"What's so special about her?, humans sleep with their siblings all the time, you guys take her like she some goddess!, she's probably going to eventually sleep with some useless punk and give away her virginity in some stupid drunk house college party!."

"I can't believe those words are the words of my son!, future Beta!, you have no regard for life, relationships and purpose!, is that what I've taught you?!."

"I can't believe I have a weakling as a father who won't even challenge the alpha after all these years!. It's like you want to remain in his shadows forever, but I don't!." Kai shouts back. 

"I am Beta, I provide for my family and serve my pack well in that regard! I do not need the title of Alpha to feel powerful! If you think seeing the death of my friend is what being powerful means then I must have failed as a father."

"A friend that would not hesitate to kill you if roles were switched!, open your eyes dad! and stop wasting your time trying to cure Azalea! She is a weak slut."

"You are a disgrace Kai!, for daring to do that your own sister, blood or not!, how you will treat other women that are not even related to you!."

Hearing those words, tears pool out of my eyes till I can't take it anymore, I need to leave this place, the pack, immediately after mating day, I'm leaving!. If I was unsure before, now I am not. I do not want to be the reason Dad and Kai's relationship hits rock bottom. I do not want to get in anyone's way.

I know it would kill them, but sorry mom and dad.
