Once I had opened myself up to the connection I had made with the Ancients of my bloodline the regeneration of my Magick didn’t take long, however, it wasn’t the large influx of power like during the spell so it didn’t overwhelm me and after a while I was able to get to my feet without feeling weak. Unfortunately, I will have to meditate like this a few more times before my magick returns to normal.

I sigh as I pick up the tray and return it to the kitchen before sitting at one of the counters at one of the Omega’s insistence. After a moment or two, he places a plate of food in front of me, smiles shyly and then returns to his work. I watched him puzzled until a slightly older Omega approached me, refilled my glass of juice and whispered,
