109 - Bem-vinda ao Brasil, parte 01

When I opened my eyes, I was still so tired, but extremely excited. I was still lying in bed, but the plane seemed to have landed. I wondered how this could be possible since Jaden was sleeping soundly, wrapped around me.

"He moved us to another place and then brought us back," Fawn said inside my head.

"He’s so thoughtful," I murmured, closing my eyes and feeling my eyelids incredibly heavy and drowsy. "I've been so tired lately, almost double." I sighed, nearly falling back to sleep.

"Humrum," was all Fawn said before settling back down in the depths of my mind once again.

The silence made me drift off once more, and when I woke up, still in the plane’s cabin, the air was warmer than before. I jumped out of the empty bed beside me and opened the door, only to find Jaden on the phone with our security team.

He hung up right after I arrived, smiling at me, and it was the first time I noticed breakfast laid out on the little table that we hadn’t used yet.
