The Drama-filled Bonfire[Part 1]

I finish my shower once my legs are not jello, washing off the arousal scent and heading back to my room to read a bit before tonight's bonfire. The pack supplies us with an education up to high school and any extended education we need for our given jobs. I want to apply for a scholarship to go to school for paranormal anthropology to better understand the roles all the races play in the world.

I am lost deep in a book on vampires when Bre enters the room in a giddy. "We got to look our best tonight, Alesi." She is already opening our closet and tossing outfits onto her bed, trying to rate which one to wear. I know better than to interrupt her, watching her make her plans.

"Anything else happened after I left for lunch?" I ask, suspicious now with her excitement. "The Gamma is going to be at the bonfire! I heard him tell Luna he'd keep an eye on her daughter tonight. What do you think he likes? Slutty red dress Bre? Quiet sexy girl blue Bre? Strict play hard black Bre?" My head is spinning, looking at her put on one outfit then another confused. "Uh."

"Which one, Elesi?!" She is now begging me, unsure herself what to wear. 'Tell her the blue one. Red is too desperate and black makes her look old.' Vesper chimes in, better at this than me. "Vesper says the blue one. Red is too much and Black is too old lady."

"Thank you, Vesper! Your wolf is a better bestie than you are sometimes, Elesi." Bre teases, but it's true we are both close to the other wolves as well. "I am just going to wear...." I look at the closet at my outfits, now thinking about how I'd want to be seen.

'Wear the green sweater and the jeans that make our ass look good.' Vesper chimes in, wagging her tail. I chuckle, glad that Vesper knows how to dress us too. "I think I will wear this." I slip into my new clothes, look at myself in the mirror and fix my hair. "Makeup?" 'You don't need that shit.' Vesper growls a bit.

Bre drags me out of the dorms by my arm, joining a small group of other omegas as we head to the forest path to go to the bonfire - the opposite direction of the pack house.

"So the boys are back?" "Yeah! I heard one of them brought a mate!" "A mate? How did that happen?" "Weren't they with a bunch of males?" "Maybe a girl they met on vacation?" "Ah! Did you hear the Alpha's Daughter Circe is going to be there with the Beta's Daughter Evette?" "Yes and Gamma Soren will be with them! Protecting Luna's daughter." "He is sooooo dreamy!" "He could guard me any day." "I heard that some of the warriors will be there too tonight!" "AHHH! So many hot boys to drool over." "Maybe one of us will be lucky." "You wish!" "I pray the Moon Goddess grants me a handsome mate." The omegas chatter amongst themselves, I idly listen to their excitement as I smell the bonfire not far from us now.

When we arrived the party had already started, many present and socializing around the large fire in the center. I can easily see Circe and Evette being crowded by males, with Soren standing behind them in a bit of a defensive manner. I haven't seen Circe in some time, but it seems she has dyed her blonde hair red - it looks nice.

Bre immediately giggles, and looks to me, excited to be around such 'gossip' worthy characters. Before she is dragged off by another omega to go fetch drinks.

I separate from the pack of giggly goons to find a nice spot to sit and watch the fire. Today has been long, and I am more tired than I thought I'd be tonight. I idly watch those around me, everything seeming to be calm for now.

'He keeps looking at you.' Vesper comments, causing me to catch Soren in the distance looking at me. I quickly look away, really not wishing to deal with that man right now. Doesn't he have his hand full?

'I think he is curious about you, Elesi.' Vesper giggles, finding the male's antics entertaining to say the least. No thank you. That man can stay all the way over there.

A few rowdy males enter - warriors. I can't exactly tell who, but they are wearing typical garb for those kinds - and are all muscle. His scent catches my nose. 'Rhory.' Vesper hums, excited to allow him to come close to us.

Please please PLEASE don't remember my scent. 'Why not? Perhaps he liked how we smelled as much as we liked him. What's wrong with getting to know a handsome male?' Vesper encourages me, wanting to get a mate as bad as I do - but probably not for the same reasons.
