Freya propped her bare feet onto the railing of her historical home’s wrap around front porch as she slumped back into her favorite Adirondack style chair. The sun was slowly creeping below the treetops, leaving in its wake a brilliant hue of reds and yellows that almost danced along the skyline.

“I love this time of day,” she said in a soft voice to Marcus who’d just pulled a chair up next to her and was mimicking her seating style.

“It has a certain ambiance,” he murmured as he lit a cigar. Tipping his head back and making smoke rings, he added,  “I’ll give it that.”

“I am starting to feel the effects of the moon. It will be full in a few days,” she said. “Have you worked out a plan?”

“I’ve got Jasper on it,” he replied.

“Altering the genetics of the wolf so that we can turn at will instead of waiting for the full moon is a great long term solution, but it does nothing for the immediate,” she snipped. “We need to get that girl back before that baby is born.”

“He says the same thing,” Marcus mused. “It’s just not easy to get into that castle. They’ve got triple the army than us. If we can increase our speed and strength, it will help. I’m hoping he can produce some kind of formula for that.”

“What about that witch?” she impatiently asked. “I thought he was working on something.”

“He’s trying to get an idea of the state of the old witch they have there. If she’s with them, he’ll be detected right away,” Marcus said. “They won’t be taken by surprise so easily now.”

“Olivia’s intelligence reports are sorely missed,” Freya pouted.

“As is she,” Marcus added.

The old she-wolf raised a brow.

“I did not think you even knew that she was alive,” she said.

The pack leader shrugged.

“I’m aware of all of my wolves,” he informed her. “I just don’t have interaction with most of them. It’s a leader thing.”

“Hmmm. Time,” she mused.

“Time and the fact that it’s not good to get too close with them,” he explained. “They begin to know you too well. It’s better to be elusive and mysterious than to have them know your human weaknesses and possibly lose their respect because of it.”

Freya heaved a sigh as she pulled her shapely legs off the rail and stood up.

“I suppose so,” she said as she stretched in a cat-like manner. “I, for one, am glad for your humanity. Men like you are far and few between.”

“Men like me?” he said with an amused tone as his eyes focused on her firm looking breasts as they jutted forward during her stretch. It was clear that she wasn’t wearing a bra. Considering her  age, this impressed him.

“You know what I mean,” she said with a grin.

Realizing that she was taunting him with her body, she held her stretch longer than was necessary. Pulling in her already tight stomach and abdomen to make them look as small as possible while filling her lungs so that her chest expanded to its maximum, she twisted and shifted in a way that best emphasized her breasts and buttocks to attract his eyes to them.

“I thought you had Jasper targeted for that stuff,” he said as he ground the embers of his cigar into a nearby ashtray, set it down, and then eagerly stood to face her.

He’d admired and longed for a taste of her shapely body since the first day she’d appeared in the crowd during a pack meeting and had secretly resented the fact that she’d taken Jasper as a lover and not him. Now, it looked like things might change.

“He makes a good lover, but sometimes he is too intellectual for my taste,” she boldly informed him.

Marcus didn’t hide his surprise over her remark about Jasper or the fact that she’d insulted him as he said, “And I’m not?”

Freya chuckled.

“You are not a scientist,” she said with humor. “As for what kind of a lover you are… that still remains to be seen. You work construction.”  Moving to him, she rested her hand on his powerful upper arm. “I like that you do something that keeps your body strong and fit. I need a man who is strong in bed.”

“I’m not stupid,” he protested.

“You cannot be stupid and keep a pack running as efficiently as you do,” she said with a touch of defensiveness. “I was referring more to the fact that Jasper’s mind is focused on work twenty-four seven. Even during sex. Or, so it seems.”

Feeling aroused by the conversation, Marcus moved closer to the ancient she-wolf.

“I can’t imagine not being focused on enjoying your body,” he remarked as he looked down into eyes that echoed the mysteries of time. With a choked and husky whisper, he said,  “You’re remarkable.”

Her form eased so close to his that they touched.

“In what way?” she asked with a lusty whisper.

“You’re as old as time, yet fit and supple,” he boldly said.

Throwing her head back in laughter, she said, “Thanks. I think.” Then, with a more serious tone, she asked, “Do you want to find out just how fit and supple I am?”

Instead of responding with a ‘yes,’ he lowered his lips to hers. An electrifying jolt shot to his groin almost immediately. With a deep throated growl, he swept her petite body into his powerful arms and carried her into the house. His strong legs took the stairs two at a time and he quickly found her bedroom.

Tossing her onto the bed, he rapidly slipped his feet from his work boots and removed his jeans while she pulled off her top to expose pert and eager nipples. She was half-way through the process of pulling her jeans off her lean legs when he roughly finished the job for her.

Laughing at his aggressive display of need, she opened her arms as a signal for him to come to her. Her eyes took in the size of his bulging package. It was larger than she’d ever had inside of her, giving her a mixture of apprehension and excitement.

Grabbing his manhood, he asked with pride, “Do you like?”

She smiled and nodded as she said in a voice that had an animal-like tone to it, “Bring it, baby.”

Spreading her legs wide, she laid back on the bed in anticipation.

“Not so fast, my beautiful she-wolf,” he said with a chuckle. “A little foreplay is in order, if you please. With the centuries you have under your belt, I imagine you’re an expert at it by now.”

When he straddled her shoulders and brought his manhood to her face, there was no guessing that he was referring to her performing oral sex on him.

She inwardly groaned. Oral sex wasn’t altogether foreign to her, but it was not an act that she enjoyed. Although it was a widespread practice among wolves in preparation for penetration, it was something she’d never developed a liking for. She’d been lucky enough to attract lovers who were willing to let her direct the way the sex was performed. Therefore, she was far more accustomed to being on the receiving end when it came to sex. Even so, she subdued the protest that longed to escape her lips. Instead, she wrapped her fingers around his thick and intimidating rod and slipped it into her mouth.

Over the centuries, she’d had sex with both men and women, but had managed to be the receiver and not the giver most of the time. Of the little she had been in the position of having to give, it had never been as  enjoyable as she found it with Marcus.

She’d have thought that being positioned in such a way as to keep her head pinned down while he enjoyed her ministrations would have been uncomfortable and confining. Instead, she found the fact that he gave complete control to her as she grabbed his hips and moved him in and out of her mouth while she sucked and teased with her tongue a delightful experience. To her surprise, she actually reveled in his feel and taste. When he released his seed, she greedily took it in.

Not wanting to give up this surprising and easily addictive experience, it was her intention to continue to work on him until he was able to peak and release once more. Therefore, she was disappointed when he pulled away.

Laying back, she wiped at the corners of her mouth with her fingertips while she gathered her thoughts. Why was the experience with him so different? Oral sex with Marcus had changed her view of it completely. Why had it taken centuries of sex partners for her to finally have such a gratifying experience?

She had little time to contemplate it before his rough hands were spreading her legs wide and he was returning the favor to her. His strong tongue knew exactly what to do to repeatedly bring her to unimaginable heights of passion. Even with her hips bucking wildly with desire, he managed to stay on point.

When the need in her breasts became almost overwhelming, she relieved them with her own hands. Realizing what she was doing, he pushed her hands away so that he could take over while his expert tongue continued to bring her to unimaginable heights of passion. His strong, work calloused fingers kneaded her firm, rounded breasts, and pulled at her pert, rosy nipples in a way that both aroused and hurt so good.

For the first time in centuries, she was sure that she would go mad from passion.

Even in her erotic frenzy, she couldn’t help being impressed by his coordination and ease in keeping the flow at a steady pace no matter how wildly she twisted, arched, and bucked.

When he finally ceased with foreplay and she was sure that she was spent, he rammed his engorged manhood deep inside of her. The shock of his thick rod entering her with such a powerful force sent a surprising jolt of energy through her. Within seconds he’d managed to activate her g-spot. She went from feeling spent and satisfied to being greedy and in need of all that he had to offer.

When he’d finally satisfied them both, they lay spent and sweaty on the bed. Still fascinated by her timeless beauty, he traced her swollen nipples with his fingertips.

“I got a little rough, I see,” he said as he leaned over to kiss one of them.

“It felt marvelous,” she said as she arched her back to present her breast to his hot lips. “It just so happens that I like it a little bit rough.”

Chuckling, he wrapped his lips around her swollen rosebud and murmured, “Not done yet?”

Holding his head firmly to her breast, she whispered, “I am not sure I shall ever be done with you.”

Upon hearing her words, he intently suckled while his tongue played with her hardened nipple. The sensation had the effect he’d intended and she was soon begging for him to be inside of her again.

He teased her by moving from one breast to the other while his long fingers slid in and out of her in a way that his manhood would, had it been inside of her. When her hips jolted so high with need that he thought she’d fly from the bed, he laughed and flipped her onto her stomach. Cupping her breasts firmly with his oversized hands and making sure that he had her hardened nipples secured between his thumbs and forefingers, he firmly squeezed and pulled at them while ramming his manhood deep into her womanhood. The sensation was so unique that she cried out with a mixture of surprise, arousal, and mild yet pleasurable pain as he continued to tug at her nipples while pummeling her womanhood. When they finally peaked, it was as if they were one.

When he pulled out of her, she let her body fall to the mattress. Lying flat on her stomach, she thought back over all of the sex that she’d had over the centuries. Nothing had ever compared to this. Jasper had proven to be a strong lover, but he didn’t compare to Marcus. His animal-like method of satiating each of their needs was both satisfying and challenging as sex between wolves should be. It was then that she knew that she’d found a bed mate to keep.

Jasper popped the last of the roast beef sandwich he’d made for his lunch into his mouth and shuddered. The closer it got to the moon being full, the less he cared for the taste of cooked meat. Even the rare roast beef tasted off to him. This wasn’t a common complaint of the other werewolves with which he’d been associating. Therefore he assumed that it was either the zombie toxins or the vampire genetics in him that the moon was enhancing. Because the werewolf genetics had proven to have the strongest influence, he was surprised that they didn’t simply overpower the other traits instead of enhancing them. Since it only happened during the time of the full moon, he was confident that he was correct with his deduction.Coming to this realization filled him with dread and trepidation. His dislike for cooked meat was getting stronger with each full moon. That in itself was a serious matter. What made it worse was the fact that his craving

Those fool vampires won’t have a clue what to do if there are.”“Would we?” Jasper asked.“At least we’re familiar with birth,” Ben replied. “I can’t imagine the birth of a vampire baby is much different than that of a human baby.”“Some of the female vampires had children before they were turned,” Jasper offered. “I imagine they will remember how it’s done.&

“This is probably the worst time to be out looking for witches,” Oscar grumbled as he and his small group of vampires followed Samuel into the forest. “The woods will be crawling with werewolves just itching for battle.”“That is true,” Samuel said with a slight nod as he stealthily moved forward. “This is also the time when the witches would not think us being out at all. It is an advantage that will get us a decent catch. Just keep alert.”“Do you know where to find this decent catch?” Oscar asked with a touch of sarcasm.Although Samuel was his maker and he was bound to serve him, Oscar resented that his superior had returned to take control of the den when he not only felt that he was more suited for the position, but he coveted the power and the glory that came with it.“I do,” Samuel informed him. “I learned of their location when I was held prisoner by the wolves. Lila struggled against the guards as they presented her to Oscar. She’d had enough exposure to him during her time in the castle both with Jasper and now to realize the cruel streak he possessed.
