The Forest

When I woke up it was a nice Sunday morning . The pale blue sky was floating with white clouds, the breeze was blowing , the birds were leaping back  on the tree, as if telling people that a new day has begun.  The dew drops were falling from the leaves of the plants .The grass was wet due to the dew drops. The sun was rising up from the clouds. We went to breakfast table . Breakfast was soft pancakes and berries, as warm as they would be in the sun, maple syrup threaded upon the top. It remains by my favorite breakfast, yet it has nothing at all to do with the food. We all were worried .We all decided to go to a walk after breakfast . My mum was not ready . So she stayed at home. Walking was my most beloved hobby . Me , My father and Jacob started our walk .

We were going through forest .It was a calm and overcast day. There was a gentle breeze, creating the single sound of rustling leaves.  The leaves appeared as though they were dying to fall out of the tree and join their companions on the forest floor.  Together with pine needles and other flora the leaves formed a thick springy carpet for me to walk upon.

The forest was pure and clean, as though it had never been disturbed by man and his vicious life killing machines.

We were talking that ,suddenly  we heard a shout . My father started moving in that direction .Me and Jacob also started following him. When we arrived there we saw a child. He was injured , as someone had scratched his body .My father  was frequently asking him questions .

He asked "from where are you"

The boy replied "I can't remember ."

"Where do you live ?"

"I have said I can't remember."

Are your mother father here around ?"

"No they are not here "

"How do you get injured "

"I fell of while walking "

My father with great attention " But this injury tells that you haven't fall .someone has scratched your body ."

He was staring at my father and then He angrily replied "I can't remember "

My father decided to take him home . But I was feeling something strange because that boy was resembling with the boy in the weird house . But I can't do anything because I also wanted to help him . We brought him home .

When we came home my mother was lying in the floor . After ,some time she was better and in her senses .

My father asked "what happened . "

She replied " I was making food in kitchen ,th ….tha.....that sudden....suddenly  I heard a knock on door . When I went to see there was no one . I thought there must be children . But when I turned back to kitchen ,I saw all the food was lying on the floor . I was completely , shocked . The.....Then I again heard a knock on door . I thought that you all have come back .I went to open the door again but again there was no one . But .....but when I came back .I saw a old man standing in my kitchen ". I asked him "Who are you ." He replied " Your enemy " .

And suddenly I saw him in the backyard . And then when I opened my eyes you were here .

Jacob asked " Then where do the old man go .I don't saw him "

My mother replied "I don't know , I think He came here to give us something "

I asked "what "

"I don't know but he has left something for us in this house . I had saw in her hand ."

Jacob asked " Then where it is ? "

My father replied" He has left it in this house "

I asked " But what ? "
