Several more days later, she passed without seeing any of the men. It was as if they had all disappeared or deliberately avoided me, making my plan increasingly unachievable. Thankfully, Tanya was heading up today and staying for the weekend. I've been anxiously awaiting her arrival. Unfortunately, the ride can be unpredictable in winter.

"What brings you out here at this time? It's about to snow," Reign commented.

"Ahh!" I yelped, spilling the Sauvignon Blanc all over my thin red slip dress.

"Sorry!" he said, removing a long black coat and wrapping it around me, "I didn't mean to startle you."

"It's alright," I giggled, drinking more from the bottle.

"Woah," he cautioned, gently easing it from my drunken grasp. "Are you okay?"

"Why wouldn't I be?" I slurred, "Your grandfather is an asshole, your great uncle is garbage, and your father... You're father..."

"My father?" he asked while sipping some of the wine.

"Is the only decent one," I finished.

"What about Eric?
