The Randhawa mansion was all decked up with flowers, their vibrant colors all of Anay's choice as it was his birthday today!!!!

"Happy birthday, my baby!" Smriti exclaimed, enveloping Anay in a tight hug and planting a gentle kiss on his forehead.

Anay, still groggy from sleep, glanced around, taking in the decorations. "Thank you, Mom," he replied

"Look what I got you!" Smriti said, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she handed him a small, shiny box.

As Anay opened it, there lay a sleek new car key. "Your new car! Exactly the kind you like and tell me if you want anything else ..... Everything will be as per your choice, Also we'll host a grand party tonight!"

"No, Mom... I don't want any party." anay said in a uninterested tone.

"Why? Is something wrong?" she asked, concern knitting her brows.

"Nothing is wrong, Mom. I'm a mature man now. I don't need a party. I'll be out with my friends tonight, okay?"

Smriti nodded reluctantly, understanding his need for privacy.
