Chapter 6

I want to run but I can't. It was as if my feet were rooted in where I stood.I could see the burning anger in his eyes as if he'll punch me any moment.

He walk towards my direction and everything seems to be in slow motion. Even when he walks up to me as if it's in a telenovela but it's not a love story, it's an action movie.

He pushed both of my shoulders. He was so strong that makes my back hit the wall. He cornered me with his arms and stared at me annoyingly.

"Why did you throw your shoe on me?" he said angrily, still staring at me intently. I cannot stared back at him. It feels like I get burned when my eyes met his.

"Better ask yourself, not me."I said sarcastically to annoy him and I succeeded because I could see the annoyance on his face.

"Tssk. You're nonsense."He rolled his eyes on me and walked away. I thought he'll punch me or what but, he ended up walking away. What a coward.

I just fixed myself and walked around to find the Architecture building. It feels like I'm in a maze. This school was very wide, I think that I get lost.

Luckily I found a professor. I asked him where's the Architecture building located. Gladly, he was my professor for our first subject this morning.

I walked with Mr. Kim through the hallway to find the classroom. We stopped at a classroom. Everyone was quiet as we entered the classroom. Those who used to chatter have also settled down and those who used to stand have sat down.

"Is there any vacant seat?" Mr. Kim asked all of the students. I was standing near Mr. Kim, while waiting for a vacant seat. I knew that I get their.

"Here! It is vacant, sir." A familiar voice answered. The moment I lift up my head to confirm who he was,my world stopped. I was right. It was him. The man I met earlier. The man with anger issues. But, this time he's not angry anymore, he smirked at me.

I just walk towards that chair to sit. My expression was blank and I was about to sit down but, suddenly I fell on the floor and because of that scene, the classroom filled with laughter.

I hurriedly stood up even though my butt hurts a lot. It was so embarrassing. I glanced at the man earlier who almost died in laughter. I know he was the reason why I stumbled and fell on the floor.

Is he taking his revenge on what I did earlier?

"Why did you do that?" I said angrily. I went to his chair to confront him. He's not yet finished in laughing.

"Wait..."He said while still laughing."Ugh! My stomach hurts in so much laughter."He said while holding his laugh and holding his stomach.

"I'm asking you. Why did you do that?" I said. I'm a bit annoyed with this guy.

"Because I like it, so you don't care!" he shouted and his expression become serious.

"What's happening there?" Mr. Kim asked when he come close. I forgot that our professor was here.

"Nothing, sir." I just said to finish the argument and go back to my chair to sit.

The classroom became quiet again and the class started. Mr. Kim reminded us about our subject to him, all the requirements to pass his subject and also his classroom rules.

"Zein, Ice told me earlier that you came from the clinic. Why? Is there something happened to you?" I heard a girl's soft voice behind me. That guys was behind me so, I think he's the one that girl was talking with.

"Yes, Laica. Someone just threw a shoe at me earlier and hit me on the head."I am holding my laughter when I heard it. He even intentionally really raised his voice for me to heard.

" I told you not to fight. What did the nurse say? Will that affect your vocal chords?"The woman next to him spoke again.

Seriously? That frog can sing?

"It will not affect on my golden voice. Don't worry." Zein replied.

"Can I come? Where are you guys practicing?" the girl excitedly said.

"Do you have a practice later?" the girl said.

"Yes, we have." Zein lazily answered.

Wait, why am I listening to other people's conversations? I couldn't focus on what our professor was saying in front because of these two behind me chatting.

"I think so, we are practicing at home."Zein replied.

The bell rang. It means the first period was over and the second period class will start. We're just have 20 minutes break.

I think, today is very hassle. Because if a stare was just deadly, I think I might have met my mother in heaven right now. Zein was staring at me the whole time.

I caught him several times that he was staring at me and every time I looked at him he immediately averted his gaze.

It makes me uncomfortable to move when you know someone is watching everything you do.

I overcome a day with such a scene. Thank God because I got out of school safely because I thought Zein would be waiting for me at the gate to take his revenge.

Mrs. Eva's driver fetch me at the school because Mr. and Mrs. Gavinte was not done yet to their errands at work.

I hit and kicked the driver that was sent by the Gavintes because I mistaken it for a kidnapper. I just realized that he was the driver of the Gavintes when Mrs. Eva called me and told me that she sent a driver for me.

"I'm really sorry. I didn't know. I thought you were a kidnapper." I said and just bowed in embarrassment.

"No, it's alright."The driver said and smiled at me.

When we finally got home. I go straight to my room to change my clothes into my usual clothes at home because their maid here doesn't wear a uniform.

When I rummage on my cabinet, I cannot find my clothes. All the clothes on my cabinet are new but, I have no choice so that I wore those new clothes. I will just ask Rosetta or Mrs. Eva where did my clothes went because they're gone.

I went downstairs to help the other maid to the household. I went to the kitchen and found Rosetta there, preparing some foods for dinner so I help her in cutting some ingredients and in doing the dishes.

I also found out that my clothes are on the other cabinet in my room and those new clothes that I have was bought by Mrs. Eva yesterday. She's really thoughtful to me.

It was seven o'clock in the evening when the maids finished cooking for dinner. We also finished organizing the utensils on the dinning table.

While we are getting the dinner from the kitchen, Mr. and Mrs. Gavinte arrived.

"Sorry, we're a bit late. We fetch Zion on his tutorial class, that's why. Come here, boys. Let us eat first. You can change your clothes later." Mrs. Eva said and sit on the spot she's always sitting. Beside her was her husband which was busy talking on the phone.

The youngest Gavinte went downstairs. His hair was a bit messy. I think he was a teenager based on his face and body proportion. He was still wearing his school uniform. He sat down on a chair beside his mother.

"Dude, are you hitting Shanea?"That voice caught our attention. The other two Gavintes are going downstairs.

"Yes, I am."A familiar voice said. My jaw dropped when I finally saw who it was.

What a fate!
