Chapter 88: it could have been worse

Larissa's viewpoint

"Wow!" I exclaimed for the umpteenth time, staring wide-eyed at the building with my face pressed to the glass. I've heard a lot about the hotel but I'd never gone close to the streets. The shit was fucking expensive and neither of my rich friends ever felt the need to go when Neo's father ran his own hotels, even if they were merely four-star and three-star.

Neo's family had two hotels in five major cities. A four-star and three-star hotel. Zayne's dad owned different classes of hotels in different cities ranging from four-star to five. However, two of them stood out the most and were considered six-star hotels. I was sitting in the parking lot of one of them and gawking from the car.

Zayne stepped out when the valet arrived, instructing me to take my time to digest the surroundings so I wouldn't make a fool of myself (he was referring to my makeup). Of course, the line of uniformed men that welcomed him helped that decision. He wanted to draw their attention away
