Jade's POV.

I rushed out of my room and at the same time strapped my bag on my shoulders. I met my parents in the kitchen, "I have to go now, bye Mom, and you too Dad." I pecked their cheeks.

"Better get to talk to that boy before you think of returning here in the afternoon," Mom told me, anger was slightly showing in her voice and I gasped.

"Mom!"

"Don't mind your mother, she is still very angry that you left the serving for her to attend to Kayden's friends yesterday, you should have known her by now. Now, run along, so that you won't be late." Dad said to me.

"Thanks, Dad." I pecked Mom's cheek again and watched her trying to hide her smile. I chuckled and ran out of the house.
