Evy took a deep breath and entered the gate of the school. Yes! She was nervous. But unlike usual, it had nothing to do with fear. She can’t think of a correct word to describe her feelings.
All in all, she can say that she was excited. Evy was curious to see the reactions of all those people who had made her life miserable in this school. And most importantly, she was anxious to see her best friend. The one who was a rock for her. She was always there when she needed a shoulder to cry on. The one to whom she could say anything and everything. The one who didn’t care about her reputation.
The one and only Evy’s true best friend, Hailey.
Evy has not been talking much with her in the past year. They did chat once in a while, but nothing major. Her best friend has no clue that she has enrolled her name in this school once again.
As she was entering the gate, Evy got curious glances from the students here. The boys were shamelessly checking her out, and the girls were glaring at her. Ha! First, they used to because she was a nerd and the laughingstock of Woodstock High, but now because the jocks were checking her out.
Losers!
Evy didn’t even spare them a single look and confidently entered the school. As she entered, everyone passing in the corridor stopped. They all wanted to have a good look at the new girl. But only if they know who she really is. Evy went to the receptionist and asked for her schedule.
“Hello, I am Evelyn Brook.” But she interrupted her.
“New student?” Mrs. Brown head of the admin department of their school asked.
“Kind of,” she smiled politely. Evy instantly grew a liking towards her.
“Here’s your schedule and the school map, along with your locker number. All your books are already kept in it. Enjoy your first day. Have fun.” She said kindly with a smile.
“Thank you, and I am sure I will have some fun here,” Evy smirked.
She was walking towards her locker when she crashed into something, or rather someone.
“I am sorr—” She stopped when she looked at who was the person in front of her.
“I am sorry.” She said coldly and passed through him without giving him a second glance.
The morning was going smoothly until Eddy crashed into someone. In front of him was the new girl. But something was odd here. He didn’t know, but he had a feeling in the pit of his stomach that he knew her from somewhere. He wished that he had a better view of her face.
She gave him the cold shoulder and left. Hot would be an understatement. She was beautiful. She wore skinny black jeans with a red top, and above that, a black leather jacket. She also wore boots that were screaming badass. She had an attitude which was telling him, ‘you better not mess with me.’
For some unknown reason, Eddy found her interesting. But there was something he was missing for sure. When she apologized to him with no emotions, it felt as if she knew something he was unaware of.
Eddy met his friends in the boy’s common room. Yes! They have separate rooms for boys where all the lockers are furnished. There is no entry for girls there.
Over there, every single male species was talking about the new chick, but not a single person knew her name.
Strange!
Evy went towards the girls’ common room to get her books for her first lecture. She was about to step in when her breath hitched. In front of her was her best girlfriend, Hailey. She was standing in all her glory looking at Evy’s old locker. She could see how much Hailey missed her and was missing her now.
“Looking at my old locker would not bring me back, Hails,” Evy smirked, to which Hailey turned around.
“Evy,” she said with a shocking expression on her face.
They both ran towards each other and gave one another one of their bone-crushing hugs. You might be thinking this is such a Lesbos move, but, hey! She is her female soul mate. They have both been through hell together.
“Oh my god! I still can’t believe you are here.”
“Well, there is one way to make you believe,” Evy smirked and pinched her cheek.
“Ouch!” She rubbed her cheek. “Okay, I believe it now.”
They were both laughing and hugging. Hailey is a bit shorter than Evy. She is 5’3 whereas Evy is 5’5. She is not too skinny, but not fat either. She is pretty and cute. She is not like other girls who love to expose and wear slutty clothes.
“You look so pretty. The past year has been good for you,” she exclaimed.
“I won’t argue about that. I hope I have not been replaced.” Evy said.
“I miss you, Evy. Nothing was the same without you. I did make a few friends, but no one was special enough to take your place.”
“I missed you too, and I made a best friend there—” Her face fell.
“But you know I would call him my second-best friend. No one will ever take your position.” She hugged her.
The bell soon interrupted their conversation. It was the signal for their first lecture. Here in Woodstock, there are three bell systems. The first bell is significant for them to make their way towards the class. The second bell is a warning bell that rings after five minutes, and the third is the second warning bell, which indicates that you might get a detention slip if you are not in class.
Cool right!
On their way to class, the girls compared their schedules, and they both were ecstatic to find out that both of them had the same lectures. As the girls entered the class, everyone stopped doing their thing. They were all staring at Evy and giving her curious glances. Ignoring them all, she sat on the bench with Hailey.
“Wow! Evy. You have changed. I mean, you are finally your true self with everyone out there.”
“It is time for me to get out of my shell, Hails. You know, there is so much I have to tell you about.”
But Evy was interrupted by one of the popular and most arrogant jocks.
“Hey Hailey, hey babe!” Victor said.
Mostly, everyone knew Hailey because she is one of the sweetest people here. You can trust her with anything. She gives friendly vibes to everyone, which attracts them towards her. But because of her down-to-earth and not so slutty attitude, she isn’t in the IT group.
“Hey, Victor,” Evy said flatly.
“I see you know my name,” he smirked.
“Well, I always keep track of people who are on my hate list,” she said innocently. Hailey was trying to muffle her laugh with her hand.
“Ouch! That hurts.” He faked his hurt tone and kept his hand on his heart. She doubts if he even has a heart.
“And I care because?” Evy raises her eyebrows.
“Who wouldn’t care about me? Just look at me.” He didn’t know how dumb he sounded right now.
“Whatever!”
“At least tell me your name?”
“Well, just say I am your worst nightmare.”
Ms. Wendy interrupted their little talk. She is their literature professor. Evy was thankful that this school doesn’t have the introduction of a new student. Yes, here the class starts directly. After five minutes, there was a VIP entry of one of the most egoistic and arrogant jocks.
“May I come in?”
“Edward, you are five minutes late. But as it is the start of the New Year, I would spare you from detention. But don’t you repeat it again,”
“Thank you, Ms. Wendy.” He came inside and stopped. He was looking for an empty seat in the class. And soon, his eyes met hers. Evy didn’t want to flash any kind of emotion, so she rolled her eyes and ignored him. After a few seconds, he went towards the back and sat beside one of the biggest bitches in this school, Madeline.
Edwards looked the same as before. She can bet you that he is the same arrogant jerk.
The following three lectures went smoothly, and soon it was lunchtime. Yay! For her, as she just loves eating. Unlike other schools in town, their canteen provides really good food.
Edward was stopped dead in his tracks when he saw those familiar green emerald eyes. When her eyes met his, he could see the hatred in them. The next three lectures were torture for him. Not because of the teachers, but because his mind was filled with thoughts. Not once she glanced his way.
Finally, the bell rang, and she left the class. Eddy wanted to chase behind her, but he was stopped by none other than Madeline. She is very irritating and clingy. He doesn’t even know why he stands her. She was the biggest mistake of his life.
Evy and Hailey sat at one of the tables in the canteen. She wasn’t a loner in this school. For the past year, she had been part of a group in which there were all kinds of people—geeks, nerds, emo, etc. And actually, Evy finds it cool. She thinks a person should befriend a variety of people instead of hanging out with one type of person.
Evy was informing Hailey about her life back at her old school. During the whole three classes, they had been chatting like a maniac. She really wished Owen was here. He is her best friend from another school. He was his strength there. He is the only reason why Evy can face these monsters.
“Hails, I heard there is a new boy who has enrolled in the school?”
“Yeah, there is. But I have seen no fresh faces—Until now.” Hailey was looking behind her.
When she turned back, she could not believe her eyes. Evy stood up and instantly ran towards him. She hugged him hard. He swirled Evy around and pecked her cheek. Evy grabbed his arm and pulled him towards their table.
“Hails, remember I was telling you about my best buddy back in my old school. Well, meet Owen.”
“Hello,” she said shyly. Hailey is shy. But once she gets along with the person, then this girl can never stop talking.
“Hi, Evy told me so much about you. And finally, I can meet the famous Hailey.” He hugged her.
She was blushing hard. And well, even Evy was shocked because Owen hugs no random person. And he was giving her his famous hugs. She knew for a fact that Owen would love Hailey and vice versa when they met.
All three of them were chatting and laughing when Victor interrupted them again.
“Hey, Nightmare. What are you doing here? A girl like you should sit with us. If you want, your friends could also tag along.”
“Well, we are pretty fine here,” Evy replied, frustration clearly written on her face.
“Oh, come on.” Victor insisted.
“Dude, just leave.” Owen intervened.
With that, he left us alone. Owen could be scary if he wanted. Then the bell rang, indicating the next lecture.
During the break, Evy found that Owen had shifted to Woodstock and wanted to surprise her. He was glad he did, though. Both her best friends are with her now. And the best part of it was she could see Hailey and Owen becoming best buddies soon.
The next lecture was Evy’s personal favorite, the Psychology lecture. And not only was that her favorite teacher, Mrs. Natalia, going to take it. She used to take the Psychology workshop in her old school.
“Look, who do we have here? My favorite students. Owen and Evy.” Mrs. Natalia exclaimed.
“The one and only.” Owen grinned.
“And you might be the famous Hailey, of whom Evelyn always used to talk about.” Mrs. Natalia spoke. Mrs. Natalia also used to be Evy’s counsellor. She always used to tell her all about Hailey.
“Well, class, I am Mrs. Natalia Peters, your Psychology teacher and the cultural head of this school,” She exclaimed.
“Is she Evelyn Brook?” Madeline asked.
“Yes, she is.” Mrs. Natalia confirmed. With that, everyone in the class started talking.
Evy was suppressing her laugh along with Owen and Hails.
“So everyone, you all can get along with Evelyn afterwards. But before that, I have various things to inform you. As you know, Woodstock High is famous for its cultural activities and fests, so this year we have made some changes to the cultural team. Instead of Madeline, Evelyn and Owen will be the new cultural heads. And Edward and Carson are also removed from their assistant posts,”
“What!” Madeline shrieked.
“You might be Madeline. Calm down, girl. You are already the head of the cheerleaders, and Edward is head of football, and Carson, the basketball team captain. And looking at the past two years’ records, the statistic has gone low.” These made her shut up and shrunk down in her seat.
Mrs. Natalia continued, “So now Evelyn and Owen will be replacing you, Madeline. Don’t say anything and let me complete. Evelyn and Owen had done a wonderful job back there in the old school, and the graph is much higher from here. Hailey, you will assist both of them, and you are chosen because I have seen her portfolio, and the rest of the teachers have also recommended you. So, from now on, these are your new heads. I want every one of you to corporate with them. And as for your Psychology class, well, it will start from tomorrow along with the rest of the lecture. You are all dispersed.”
With that, everyone left.
Eddy was beyond hurt when he saw Evy hugging the new guy. When he entered the canteen for once, he thought she was running towards him, but she didn’t even look at him. Instead, she hugged that guy. However, the guy was good-looking and all, but still. He was their new football player. Apparently, in his old school, he was one of the best players.
Eddy was even shocked when he heard that she, Owen, and Hailey would be the new head of the cultural team. He was not complaining or anything, but he felt like Owen had replaced him, and it stung. And most importantly, she talked about Hailey to Mrs. Natalia. But what about him? Is he nothing to her?
It shocked each and every person when they learned the unknown girl was none other than their old Evelyn Brook. But when Eddy saw her beautiful green emerald eyes of her, he instantly knew who she was.
She was the nerd and the laughingstock of Woodstock high. She has changed a lot. Not as in a change in a bad way, but now her true personality was reflected, which was only known by him and Hailey.
He is glad that she has changed within one year. She has changed for good because now not only Evy but even Owen and Hailey will be considered in their popular crowd. And they do deserve it.
Evy has always been creative along with Hails, and Eddy is glad that they are part of their cultural team. He does not doubt that Evelyn, Hailey, and Owen would be good heads.
Evelyn, Hailey, Owen. He sighed.
It always used to be Evelyn, Hailey, and Eddy. They were like the three musketeers till eight standards. But after that, they also used to hangout. Evelyn was closest to him.
But he can’t blame her, though. Eddy has been horrible to not only Evy but also to Hailey. He deserves this.
Is Karma a real thing?
Naah! He doesn’t think so. Yes, Evy is angry now, but everything will be back to normal once he asks for an apology. He knows her; she always forgives him. And he knows that she will forgive him again. But first, Eddy needs to give her some space and let her calm down. Once she comes around, he will ask her for forgiveness, and they will be best friends again.
Finally, Evelyn Brook, his best friend, is back.
“Hey honey, you back?” Evy’s mom asked aloud when she closed the door. “Yes, mom,” she answered her back and moved her feet towards the kitchen. “How was your school?” “Usual,” she said to her innocently. But as it is said, nothing can be hidden from a mother, so her mom instantly knew that her school went better than usual. “Of course, honey, your gleaming eyes say that school was fantastic.” To which she stuck her tongue out. “Uh, mom, I have invited Hailey and Owen to hang out. You don’t mind, do you?” “Of course not,” “Love you, mom,” she took an apple and ran to her room. Evy’s room is the favorite part of her home. It is not that huge, nor is it tiny. It is covered with beautiful lavender colored wallpaper, which has a white floral print design. In the middle of her room is her comfy bed. On one side of her room is the study table, which is attached to her bookshelf. On the other side of the room is her dressing table. Unlike other girls, it is not loaded wi
Unlike usual, today, Eddy was anxious. He doesn’t know if there is any such thing called Karma, but he knows one thing for sure, he has to apologize to Evy soon, or else he will lose her. Maybe he had already lost her? NO, Eddy will get their friendship back on track. He just needed to tell her sorry. That’s it—five-letter words. After an hour or so, he drove to school. It took him around fifteen minutes to reach. He wanted to solve their misunderstandings. So, he thought about waiting in the parking lot. You might peg him as a desperate guy. But no, he is not desperate. He wants Evelyn back in his life. During this one year, he missed her a lot. His train of thoughts was intervened by the view in front of him. Evelyn, Owen, and Hailey were cycling to school. And he would be lying if he said it didn’t matter to him. You might be wondering why the hell he is creating fudge about them riding a bicycle. His answer to your question is that two to three years back, all three of them us
Today, their first lecture is going to be Psychology. Evy was pretty excited because, in every lecture, Mrs. Natalia makes them do something different and new. Though there is a possibility that some activities might be a repetition for her, that’s fine. “Well, hello class.” Mrs. Natalia greeted everyone. “As you know, today is our first workshop session. Before starting with anything, I would want to tell you that this workshop is different. Here we are going to do many activities. To make this workshop work, I will need your participation, and I’ll guarantee you that each one of you is going to enjoy this.” “Of course, if you are teaching, then definitely, we are going to enjoy.” Victor grinned, to which Mrs. Natalia just rolled her eyes. “So, I have every girl’s name written on this sheet. Each boy will come and pick up that piece of paper. The name written on the paper will be your partner for every activity in this workshop.” Mrs. Natalia explained. “But miss, last year you ga
“Yes,” “No,” “Yes,” “No,” “Yes, yes,” “No, no,” “No, no, no,” “Yes, yes, yes,” “Oh yeah, I won.” Evy fist pumps in the air. Now you might think, what exactly is this argument about? The thing is, Owen has got a huge crush on Hailey and is scared to ask her out. “This is not fair, Evy.” Owen folded his arms and pouted. “Everything is fair in love and war.” She sang. He was frowning now. “Come on, Owen. Man up and ask her out.” “Easier said than done.” He was glaring at her. “It’s not that difficult.” She told him, completely frustrated by him. “It is difficult. What if she rejects me?” He asked her. “Owen, there are many what-ifs in life. What if she agrees to go on a date with you?” Evy tried to reason with him. To which Owen sighs. “Owen, she won’t reject you. Trust me! You are only asking her for a friendly date. In fact, it wouldn’t be even considered as a date as you two are just going for a cup of coffee and not a romantic get-together.” Yes, you heard her righ
One entire week has passed. After the bench incident, Evy ignored Eddy completely. He had caught her a few times looking at him, but before his eyes met hers directly, she used to either turn her face or start rolling her eyes. She didn’t speak a single word to him. Last week all the lectures of Mrs. Natalia were cancelled as she had the flu. So, in that period, she either used to hang out with Hailey and Owen or keep up with her studies in the library. The library and Evy cannot be apart forever. She loves reading books. She is not your typical nerd who likes to keep her nose in the books. She just wants to get good grades and become something in life. She is your normal teenage girl, but the difference is that she is more focused than others. Evy’s silence was killing Eddy. He still remembers her words, ‘I’ll never be able to forgive you.’ That means she wants to, but she can’t. Why can’t she forgive him like before? He has to talk to her to make things clear between them. It’s
Evy was lying on her bed, and music was blasting in her ears when her mom entered her room. “Hey, sweetie,” she said with love. “Hey, mom” Evy sat up and removed the earplugs from her ears. “Well, I wanted to inform you that, Stephaney has invited us for dinner, so we have to go to theirs.” “Stephaney, as in Edward’s mother?” She asked her, dumbfounded. “Yes, Eddy’s mother. So be ready by seven, okay?” She confirmed. “Uh, oh yeah, okay.” Unbelievable. Now she is stuck with that moron. Weird, right after her mom calls Eddy with his pet name, but she prefers to use his full name now after what happened a year ago. Anyway, she cannot bail on this dinner as it will be rude to do it. So, let’s just get over with it. It was almost seven, and Evy was ready for the unfortunate dinner. She wore a black one-piece, which was simple and yet classy. It has a silver lining on the round neck of her dress. She also wore silver slippers below it, as she was not in the mood to wear heels. She w
Today, they had their first meeting with the culture team. Last week, Evy and her small team made a poster with necessary information where people can give their names to be part of this culture team, but of course, they are going to be first interviewed. All three of them, Evy, Hailey, and Owen, were pretty busy the whole day. And after long hours of work and selecting people, they finally decided to have a meeting. “Hello guys, as a culture team, it’s our first meeting, and today we are going to discuss a few important matters about—” She was interrupted by none other than Mr. A-class jerk, his best friend, and mad Madeline. “You three are ten minutes late.” She glared at them. “We were busy,” Madeline replied with a snotty attitude. “In what?” Evy retaliated back. “How about I say none of your business?” “How about I make it my business and throw you out of this team?” She raised her eyebrow. “You wouldn’t dare to,” she said with a glare. “Try me,” Evy said in a menacing to
Evy was about to leave the school premises and on her way to the parking lot when she suddenly felt someone grabbing her hand and pulling her into one of the classes. She let out a loud shriek, but no one was there to hear it. Unfortunately, she had some important matters to handle regarding a cultural group, so she stayed a bit late, and all the students had mostly left. There are only staff members in their office, which is quite far away from this passage. After a few more shots, Evy realized that it was Ed who brought her here. “What the hell, Ed?” She shouted at him. “I can’t believe you.” He was glaring at her. “You can’t believe me, bullshit!!” “My saying is bullshit, then about you. I can’t believe that you can forgive your best friends’ best friend, but not your own best friend.” He was looking furious. “Correction Mr. Edward Loraine, ex-best friend, and regarding me giving Carson then, unlike you, he was sincere about it,” she informed him in a nice way she could. He
As time passed by, everything got normal. As normal as it could have been with time. Evy and Eddy didn’t directly start with a relationship like shown in movies where lead stars kiss and make up. They took things one at a time. They decided to take baby steps, took their own sweet time, and enjoyed their moments of patching things up. They built their past relationship by being best friends again. Evy slowly and steadily started to trust Eddy back again. It didn’t take much time as she thought it would have taken. She was content and at peace with how things were going. Eddy thought it might be a bit slower, but he knew for the fact that it was necessary. He and Evy both needed time to understand each other and also the dynamics of their relationship. All three, Hailey, Evy, and Eddy, caught up on old times and filled the missing gaps, and Owen, Carson, and Kayla also accompanied them. It didn’t take long for Eddy and Evy to become best friends again. Yes, initially Evy was a bit care
After the break, Evy tried searching for Eddy, but she could not find him, and when she did, he rushed to get away from her. He was avoiding her. It seems that the tables have turned now. Finally, after school got over, she rushed towards the road where he was walking home to catch up with him. But no luck. He soon disappeared from her eyes. While walking, she was carefully glancing around to get a glimpse of him. Finally, she saw him sitting on the swing in the park where they once used to play when they were kids. They had wonderful memories of their childhood, where there was no peer pressure. They were just kids who enjoyed playing with each other. The only stress they had was completing their homework and getting enough space to have fun and what games to play with each other. Eddy was lost in his thoughts when suddenly Evy came out of the blue. He noticed that she was trying to talk to him, but he thought of it as his illusion. “Why didn’t you drag me to an empty room to ask m
Both Evy and Eddy skipped school the next day. But both of them knew that they would have to face each other soon. Evelyn didn’t know what to tell Eddy when she met him, and whereas Eddy was concerned, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to handle rejection from her. The next day, both their friends forced them to go to school. In the morning, Mrs. Natalia called Evy into the staff room to talk to her. “Evy, stop hurting yourself.” She said when she saw Evy in a disheveled shape. “Hailey and Owen told me everything. They are concerned about you." “What should I do?” Evy asked, clearly desperate to know the answer. “Just follow your heart.” Mrs. Natalia said. “I did that before and see where it had led me.” “Evy dear, everything happens for a reason. You need to let go of your past with him. The heart will lead you to difficult situations where it will ache and break, but it is never wrong.” Mrs. Natalia’s words were stuck in Evy’s mind. During the break, Evy finally saw Eddy and co
After the incident on the day of the carnival, she ignored Eddy’s call. It was the weekend, and she locked herself in the room. Luckily, her parents were out for a meeting, so it gave her a chance to be alone. She even ignored Haley, Owen, Carson, and Kayla’s calls. There were many missed calls from all five of them. She texted them to leave her alone and kept her phone on silent. They even tried to come to her house, but no luck for them because she didn’t open the door. She knew what they would tell her when she would unfold the complete story. Soon it was Monday, and she would have to face reality. She reached school but signalled them instantly to not ask her about anything, much to their displeasure. But her four friends already knew the whole story as they made Eddy tell them. Eddy was already getting impatient, and the sudden presence of four of them made him blurt out the incident that happened in front of her house. None of them knew how to help him to get him out of the com
Finally, the day came. The biggest carnival was organized by the ‘Woodstock High School’ cultural team. Unlike all those years in the past, this year it was a hit. People were enjoying it. “You guys did an outstanding job,” Eddy told Evy, Owen, and Hailey. All three acknowledged his appraisal. “Let’s enjoy this carnival. I want to play games and even want to go on rides.” Kayla exclaimed excitedly. “Of course, Kay. So, shall we?” Carson put his hand forward for his girlfriend to hold it. “Of course.” Making her giggle. Now only four of them were left. Hailey and Owen were looking awkwardly at each other. They didn’t know if it was a good idea to leave Eddy and Evy alone. “Guys, seriously. You two lovebirds go and have some fun.” Evy said. “No, it is fine. We are fine.” Hailey stated to her best friend. She didn’t want to leave Evy alone. “Ok! If on the count of three, you two didn’t vanish from my sight, then I’ll never talk to both of you.” “Okay-okay, we are leaving,” Owen s
“Hey, babe.” “What do you want, Victor?” Evy said, coming straight to the point. “I want you to go on a date with me.” Evy felt Edd stiffen beside her, and she could feel his fingers turning into a fist. “Nope.” “Did you just deny me?” He was dumbfounded. “Yes,” she said with a blank face. “Who do you think you are? You should be honored that I am asking you on a date.” He exclaimed, clearly gaining attention from everyone in the cafeteria. “Excuse me.” Standing face to face with Victor even made Eddy stand up as they both were handcuffed. “You should be honored that I am even noticing you.” “Look, guys. The loser nerd has got guts talking back to me. If I want, then I can easily ruin you.” He was fuming. “Oh my god, I really would like you to try.” Eddy wanted to butt in, but Evy’s glare told him to back off from her business. “Changing your looks won’t make you popular, you know.” “I’ll rather stay as an outcast than being popular like you. You know, it’s unbelievable th
“You know, Eddy came to visit me yesterday after you and Owen left,” Haley informed her best friend. “He did?” The surprise was clearly written on Evy’s face. “Yeah.” “Hails, you can forgive him if you want. If you want to talk to him, go ahead. I won’t stop you from doing that.” Evy told her. She would never want to come between Eddy and her friendship. “Not so soon, Evy. I want to forgive him, but what’s the guarantee he won’t ditch us again? But at the same time, this was the last year of our school, and I don’t want to part ways with him holding grudges.” “I know. I was thinking along the same lines. At least he is trying, which counts for something, right?” Evy told her she was lost in her own thoughts. “Exactly. You girls should talk to him.” Owen spoke from behind. He came towards them and kissed Hailey. “When did this happen?” Evy smirked, which made both of them blush. “Um, yesterday after Eddy left, Owen came again to check on me.” Hailey blushed hard. “Well, finall
Like any other Friday, today, the members of the culture team had a meeting. As the school carnival was coming closer, they extended their stay in the school for a few more hours. Everyone was dotting their ideas down to make their fest hit as the money collected from the carnival would be used as a school fund in the future. It has already been two hours. “Guys look, I think we should take a break and eat something. It’s been two hours since we have been working.” Maddy spoke. “Well, for the first time in the history of this universe, you said a sensible thing,” Evy smirked. “Whatever.” Before Evy could retaliate, Maddy left to get food for everyone. Strange! She had gone to get food. But none of them cared as Maddy’s presence was irritating. After half an hour, she graced them with her presence with the delicious smell of food. They all sat together on the floor and began to eat waffles and pancakes. “I never thought in life that you crave this kind of food. I mean, don’t you
Today was another session that Mrs. Natalia was taking. It’s been almost a two months since school started, and it was going pretty well. Mrs. Natalia made the guys stand in line in the class and asked all the girls to blindfold themselves. She took each girl and made them stand in front of their partner discreetly. “Okay, so now I know you might be confused. But none of you will utter a single word. Be quiet. Now, as you can see, all the girls are blindfolded and standing in front of the boys. Remember, girls, the guy behind you could be anyone from your class. So now, on the count of three, you girls will drop back and hope that you guys will catch you. So one, two, and three.” Mrs. Natalia eyed them. She had a satisfied smirk on her face. Everyone did it perfectly. Evy was apprehensive as to who would be there behind her. She followed Mrs. Natalia’s words and let her fall backward. And luckily, the guy behind her caught her. After the little activity, Mrs. Natalia asks them to
