I sucked in a sharp breath, feeling my face and neck heat. It only worsened when his eyes drifted away from my own, content to explore every place my skin had reddened.

making him more endearing and swoon worthy to me. I like the structure and timelines too, but constantly having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that they are fated mates that are clearly attached and yet don't "love" each other, which is against wolf nature n theres so much depth

I was just thinking about this while reading the newest updates. I can't help but feel that he's so patient/forgiving/persistent bc he understands and is letting her take the time she needs to see his true intentions and feelings while giving himself time to defeat the looming threats so she's safe.
