"Is that true?" I sat upright.

"Yes, a lot of things happened to me while you were away."

"How about Nicole? I heard that Jason didn't marry her in the end."

She narrated to me the story and it appeared as a fable.

"That story is funny," I remarked.

"Maybe, come let me show you to a room where you will spend the night."

She led me through her kitchen. "It's my first time being here,"

"I can't wait to taste your food,"

I smiled, "I'm not boasting but I cook well. Oh, I never even told you how I won his heart."

"Jason?"

"Yes, him. We were asked to cook pumpkin soup, his favorite food."

"Who asked?"

"His mother, it was her way of making him love me. Well, he did for a short period."

"You are a pretty woman, I doubt he will let you go."

I chuckled and stood beside the door, "I don't want to talk about that anymore."

"It's okay then, here's where you'll spend the night."
