Chapter-5

Author's Pov

Both the father and daughter's faces paled when Ace pulled the dagger out gazing at them with his sinister eyes, he looked nowhere the young innocent man who danced on their tunes years ago. He had turned into way more dangerous and ruthless than they could ever imagine him to be, his cold eyes, blank face and the fire of resentment all over his face almost made them run for hills.

Before Aurora could comprehend anything her arm was grabbed into a bruising grip as Ace yanked her up. Alvin cried out for his daughter but one gesture from Ace, his men held the wailing old man down. Ace watched once proud and arrogant runt crying and begging for his daughter's well being, it was a sight to behold and Ace loved every bit of it.

Aurora clawed at his fingers to get rid of the scorching pain she felt because of his grip, but her struggle didn't even move the burly man an inch, he steadily turned his fiery cloudy eyes to her watery ocean ones freezing her with his one intense glare. She gulped trying to step away from the herculean but his strength empowered her forcing her to submit to him and stay silent.

Soon enough when she stopped struggling and dropped her head down silently crying for her father, Ace turned his face towards the struggling old man. Ace had to admit even after stripping him off his status, making him fall from grace and snatching every ounce of his pride and ego, he still hadn't given up. Not completely.

"Sign." He commanded keeping his calm tone at bay, Alvin looked up with his red infuriated gaze shaking his head. Ace watched the obstinate man with amused eyes, even though his face was completely blank but he indeed was enjoying every bit of the situation right now.

"I am going to love breaking you, uncle." He mumbled startling the petite girl in his arms, the viciousness hidden in his tone, the malicious intentions of his and the way he looked so intrigued to break the tiny bit spirit that had left in her father had stunned her.

Her Ace wasn't like that, he never found pleasure in other's pain. But the man holding her looked beyond rejoiced at the pathetic situation of her father, she knew whatever he was planning would be beyond treacherous, she again tried to twist her arm from his grip unconsciously gaining the attention of the menacing monster.

Gazing deeply in her eyes he suddenly let her go making her stumble a step away from him, she had no idea what he was planning but the moment he released her she wanted to approach her father, she needed to aid his injury. The rapid flow of his blood coating the floor felt like a painful sight for her, no matter how much she had to accept that whatever Ace was doing, she couldn't blame him but in the end that man was still her father.

Before she could step towards her father her way was blocked by a tall giant who unblinkingly made his way towards her, her trembling frame stepped back. The more she was trying to create the distance between them, the faster his long strides were reducing them, her already hitched breathing accelerated to an uncontrollable pace watching him stepping near her like a predator.

"AH!" She screamed in horror when he roughly wrapped his large palm over her throat and smashed her back against the small dining table, the candle stand placed at the middle of the table fell on the floor with a loud thud just like the hope that crashed in her heart.

Her wide sky hued eyes connected with his narrowed cloudy ones as he leaned his face impossibly closer to her invading her personal space, her fragile body was completely restrained by his monstrous ones keeping her glued on the table. She winced when he increased his grip over her throat almost cutting her breathing.

"ACE LET HER GO PLEASE!" Alvin begged thrashing in the bulky men's hold but to no avail. He wasn't familiar with this new Ace Sullivan anymore, the man who could go to any length to get what he wanted.

"Sign." He calmly mumbled startling the struggling girl in his arms, she flinched badly when his hot breathing rapidly attacked her dry lips, her swollen bloodshot eyes gazed at him with a plead but nothing was reciprocated by the cold lad. Neither pity, nor compassion.

"I CAN'T DO THAT! She's my daughter Ace I beg you!" Alvin cried out feeling an electric pain rising through his arm steadily reaching to his heart, his breathing came out in pieces as he tried to push back the men and help his daughter.

Palming the right side of her head as he released her throat and hovered his face over her accelerating her breathing, her teary ocean eyes met his silver predator ones, she let out cracked breaths as he let the tip of his nose brush hers, she wanted to push him and struggle away from him but her whole body just stilled after their eyes connected.

"Your father looks like he's loving the show." He sarcastically uttered making her bit her lower lip watching her father being held down on his knees by the merciless beast's men, more tears kissed her temple as she witnessed him looking like he would faint anytime.

"I beg you, Ace please leave her!" The old whispered still not complying with what the devil wanted. The evil man smirked turning his attention to the trembling little girl trapped under him on the wooden dining table.

"He's not accepting my offer," He mumbled viciously before the girl froze in shock feeling something sharp touching her covered belly, her ocean eyes froze against his as she patted her delusional mind that he wouldn't. He couldn't. Her Ace could never!

"Y-You wouldn't," she whispered wanting to find the old Ace she used to know in his blank eyes but instead she earned an emotionless ghost smirk from him, all her illusions finally came crashing when he pulled the dagger away from her covered stomach for a few seconds.

"Oh I so will." And the next moment her mouth was wide open as a loud gasp filled with pain, disbelief and horror escaped her lips when he without skipping a beat stabbed her right on the side of her stomach.

More tears fell accompanied by the rapid shower of blood that dripped down her stomach, her wide bloodshot eyes gazed at him in pure terror when he twisted the dagger earning a strangled groan from her. The background was filled with the loud wailing and begging of the defeated father who finally let out the words Ace Sullivan wanted to hear.

"I WILL SIGN! I WILL SIGN PLEASE JUST LET HER GO!" He dug the dagger deeper earning a pained cry from her as Simon followed his gesture and helped the old folk to sign the agreement.

Aurora's already blurry sight started worsening even more as the blood leaked from her body without any mercy, Ace watched her carefully and mercilessly as she steadily lost her senses and her small frame slumped on the wooden table. She blacked out making the man rip the dagger out of her stomach earning a mumbled hiss from the fainted woman.

He watched the old man with no sympathy when he clutched his heart as the papers he signed were held protectively by Simon. Ace inhaled a long breath before motioning his men to let him go, he stalked towards the defeated old man crouching down in front of him forcing him to raise his bloodshot eyes, Ace couldn't bite back the smirk that finally danced on his lips in glee.

"S-Save her, please." Ace chuckled palming his injured thigh, and within the next second a loud shrill escaped his lips when the young man gripped the wound hardly forcing more blood out showing no mercy at all.

"Don't worry, uncle. I wouldn't let her or you to die so easily. You have a lot to repay." With that he gave a last harsh squeeze on the bloody wound and stood up leaving the groaning man on the floor.

"Get him checked and after that you know what to do." Simon nodded bowing slightly as Ace turned towards his object of future torture laying motionlessly in her own blood.

Wrapping his arms around her weightless body he picked her up in a bridal style and walked out of the worn out house leaving the crying father who lost his consciousness too as he watched the man who hated them beyond measure taking her away. He knew the sins he committed in the past would bite him back but he never knew the karma will hit his daughter too.

Ace paused after walking out of the main gate as he faced Simon who was following him, "Don't follow me, get the papers iron cladded, and make sure the signatures are real. I don't trust him." Simon mumbled a strong yes before opening the door of the car for his boss who placed the bleeding woman first on the back seat before taking a seat beside her.

The wound wouldn't kill her as the place where Ace stabbed her wouldn't bleed much longer, there was no way he was going to kill the object of his pleasure so easily, he had waited ten years to watch them die but slowly and painfully. He would poison them again and again but will provide the antidote just when they would be at the brink of death.

Pulling his handkerchief out he pressed her wound in order to stop the remaining bleeding before placing her head over his thigh. His hawk eyes watched her pale face without blinking, this face. The same fucking face he once adored beyond him was now the sole reason of his abhorrence, the vexation he felt when she touched him and stared at him like she had found her lost treasure was beyond him.

Lies! All fucking lies! This cunning woman and her all time facade!

He was once deceived by this innocent and fake affection of hers but he wouldn't anymore. He wasn't the fool she betrayed and toyed with before anymore, this time she would be his worthless toy and he will be the one playing her to his heart's content and from the way he had so much to be even with her. He knew he wouldn't be letting her go, not now, not ever. He had burned in the fire of pain, hatred and vengeance for years and now he will force her to engulf the flames of this fire too.

After all she was his venom, the precarious poison he had drank a long time ago and now she had to dwell in it's addiction too.

Because once she was his venom, now he will be hers.
