Puffing out a massive smoke, the man took another gulp of the cigarette and this time he let the edge of the toxic substance stay between his teeth puffing out lighter waves of smoke time to time. His deep jet black eyes stared at the cloudy sky, the same hue that reminded him of those electric steely eyes, once innocence lived in them until this cruel hawk eyed man decided to murder it.

Max stood at the balcony of his apartment wrapped in a robe squinted his eyes at the blurry sky when suddenly he felt light droplets falling from it, throwing the unfinished cigarette off the balcony without caring about the harm it might cause he leisurely stayed standing there watching the light droplets pacing up, taking their time before the attack.

"I want to sleep." He heard a familiar voice making him side eye the woman who didn't dare to come out, she was standing at the entrance of the door hugging her arms.
