2024-10-29 19:42:56It was officially the first day of high school... yay or nay, honestly I had no idea at this point, should I be happy because I had Kate by my side or should I be extremely carefull since I never had a good feeling about it.
and just like me and Kate promised to each other to stick by each other's side throughout this whole rollercoaster ride, and just like that we stepped together in the hallways of the great felicity high, but when I looked towards Kate I could see the honor and prestige in her face which probably was because she was attending the great felicity high.
And just like that both of us were off to our classes but decided to meet for lunch.
My first class was English literature, and we were reading the little women and Ms. Smith who was our English literature teacher asked me then according to me the most controversial question in the whole of little women-
"That Jo was never supposed to end up Laurie either way and Professor Bhaer was much better for her."
To which I replied that-" Professor Bhaer was I good man I will agree to that but if you ask me Jo was always supposed to end up with Laurie because through a lot of obstacles in the lives of the March sisters it was Laurie and Mr. Lawrence who stood by their side and helped them through everything and also were close to them, hence I think Jo should have ended up with Laurie and not Professor Bhaer "
As I was done speaking I heard this voice behind me and I turned to see who it was,
That's when I saw this guy...
He had this dark brown-black hair which was also kind of curls, he also had these dark eyes, and a good voice too which was slightly deep.
And clearly stated that I was wrong and said-" Jo was better off with Professor Bhaer now that she has also inherited her aunt's fortune they can also have a good life and Laurie was not as much as witty like Jo and the whole reason he was ever noticed by Jo or the other March family members was that his grandfather was loaded."
This kind of triggered me and I opposed saying that-"Jo was meant to have a good life always because of the sacrifices she had made for her family and it was going to be much better with Laurie because good life doesn't only include money but also love and your partner was supposed to be your best friend and that's what Laurie and Jo were to each other it doesn't matter if Laurie is as wistful as Jo, but he understood Jo very well it is all that matters and the March family members would have noticed Laurie even if his grandfather was not Mr. Lawrence because they dint like them for their money but instead their personalities and how good of people they were."
That's when Ms. Smith breaks the whole argument since she knew where this was going and wanted to stop it and so did,
the rest of the class was pretty much boring and we were done with English, then math, and even French. The only thing weird so far was that this guy I had a conflict in the morning with was in all the classes I was in.
and just like we promised me and Kate met for lunch and I told her about my first ever morning at the only felicity high and in all seriousness, I don't think she was ever listening because all she did was stare at guys.
I know right that was Kate Maxwell.
As we were about to finish I see this guy from the morning again.
He comes over to our table and goes "hey cousin!"
for a second right there I thought he was referring to me, that’s when Kate goes “what do you want Preston?”
He then looks at me and says “hey there! Little women”
At this point, I was sort of shook- so many questions in my head-
Who is he?
Why is he calling Kate ‘cousin’?
Who is Preston?
What is he doing here?
And why in the world is he calling me “little women”?
In between all these thoughts, his voice again distracts me saying “what are you thinking little women?”
I had basically lost it and replied by saying “first of all stop calling me little women? and who is that very unfortunate cousin of yours? and who is Preston?”
He tells me to slow down as if that was going to happen with the amount of confusion I had in me.
Finally, that’s when Kate decides to snap out and tells me that the guy was Preston and was her cousin also known as Preston Maxwell
I was like I thought you told me about everything, and of course, Kate being herself saying she forgot about him, I know right, I then ask Preston why does he call me ‘little women’?
And the reason he gave was- it was because I was obsessed with little women.
That was it was done I stormed back into my dorm room, and thank god I didn't have much to do that day so I just crept back into my bed, and only woke the next day morning that was how tired I was.

The next day was when Principal Vasidi called for an assembly for the first time since the new academic year kicked off, me, Kate and Preston decided to attend it together, and again I had the feeling that he was cooking something and it is not going to be good at all.And then there was the announcement that the school was taking us on a school trip to Switzerland.
