"Where the hell are you taking me?!"
Sebastian asked furiously, tapping at the steering wheel.
"Get out of here from the backside," Lorraine said while fastening her seat belt.
"What?"
"You heard me." She replied in an obvious tone.
"I'm not getting out of this party, leaving my brothers and going with a stranger. Not until you tell me where on Earth are you taking me!"
"I assure your security. Now get out of here."
"No way in hell!"
She clenched her jaw and locked her gaze with Sebastian's. The moment that happened, he felt a hot sensation spread in his chest. He gulped. She was so intoxicating. Not able to hold the stare any longer because of the heat spreading all over his body, he started the engine and looked at his front.
He looked back at her again. "But where-"
She gave him the same elegantly cold look. He inhaled sharply, the smell of alcohol hitting his nose.
"Where- D-do I have to drive now?" He breathed out. And fuck this wasn't the question. This woman knew how to bewitch people. She turned on the GPS of the car.
"Now, for the next ten minutes, do not disturb me."
"This is called kidnapping."
"I don't care," Lorraine said savagely.
In the next ten minutes, Sebastian spoke nothing. The only voice that intruded was of the GPS lady, giving directions as he drove on the deserted road.
She was sleeping. Sleeping. How the hell did he end up in this situation? He revised everything. They talked, someone called her, she told him to follow her. And he did.
He didn't know why but she had something in her. As if she held the
power to make people do as she pleased. He took a glance at her. She was so glamorous. Her movements were so charismatic and elegant. She was really born to be a fashion icon.
She's cold, well at least that's what Sebastian figured out till now. He's watched her movies and heard about her legal troubles. Quite a lot. She's trouble with capital T.
Despite the air conditioner, the car seemed to get hotter and hotter by every second. Or perhaps it was his body.
She was sleeping beside him. He hardly met her and was already driving with her. Alone. In the dark streets of LA. He could take full advantage of the situation.
Obscene pictures of Lorraine on his lap, in this car, kissing him fiercely in a secluded corner came into his mind.
He snapped out of his thoughts as he heard some shifting beside him. She sat up straight.
"Lorraine..." Sebastian paused, preparing himself for another sassy comment.
"Hmm?"
He sighed. "Where are we going?"
"To the party."
An audible 'huh?' left his mouth.
"Why me?"
"You're taking me to the party. I and my friends are having a small party at home and I'm clearly drunk so I can't drive that's why you're driving."
"You're using me?"
Lorraine rolled her eyes.
"If you wanna call it that, you're free to use whatever type of words but it isn't like I won't invite you in."
"But why me? You have plenty of friends there."
"You're a gentleman, I knew you would not refuse."
"So you apparently thought of taking advantage of that?" He asked.
"Yep." She answered boldly.
He gulped, mentally cursing at himself for acting like a 13-year-old. She was intimidating and he wanted to intimidate her too so he said: "You shouldn't trust people like that, you don't know what I can do to you."
She raised an eyebrow, kind of offended by his statement. "Try then, Mr Mature."
"Don't provoke me." He gave her a warning look.
"I'm not a stripper to provoke sexual shit out of you." Goddamit how is she so calm while saying sentences like these.
"W-Whatever." He said in defeat.
He pulled out his phone from his pocket and called Xander, his little brother, to inform him that he'll be-
"When can I go back?"
"Morning."
"Where are you?" Xander asked from the phone.
"I can't explain right now, I'll come back tomorrow morning."
"What?! Why? Where are you going?"
"I'm safe but I'm driving right now so, I can't talk, alright. I'll see you tomorrow."
He cut the call and pressed his lips in a thin line, imagining what scolding he'll get tomorrow morning. Although Xander was his little brother, he might tell Felix, the oldest and then he'd scold him to death.
Sebastian was the second eldest of the four. And Zavier the youngest. Xander was the third eldest, Felix the first.
They reached a huge building. Lorraine's home maybe? They got out of the car and headed towards the lift.
How does she walk so nicely in those high heels while being so drunk? The silence in the lift was awkward, well at least for Sebastian it was, where he folded his hands across his chest and looked anywhere but at Lorraine.
It was the seventeenth floor when the lift finally stopped and they headed out, passing through a deserted corridor. They walked towards a gate and she opened it with a key.
"Come in." She invited and he followed her. As he entered, in front of him was a massive living room.
A woman came down the stairs, she was in her bikini, staring at Sebastian amusingly.
"Seriously Raine, Sebastian Phoenix, you're unpredictable!" She said, and Sebastian knew why she was saying like that. She surely wouldn't have expected Lorraine to bring him here because even he didn't expect himself here. They heard hurried footsteps from the stairs and a guy - Sebastian knew him, he was a singer, Matt - stopped behind her on the stairs.
"Did someone say Sebastian? Where is he?"
"He is there, stupid."
"Come down, you lot. Where is Ivey?" Lorraine said.
"She is in the pool. I thought you would bring Brenton." Matt smirked for Sebastian didn't know what reason.
"uh...he is..No I wouldn't bring him here."
Matt gave a cheeky smile to Lorraine.
"Didn't you say Brenton was your favourite kisser?"
She rolled her eyes. They came downstairs and approached the other two.
"Okay, Sebastian, this is Ana, Ana, Sebastian."
"Hi," Ana said, extending her arms for a decent hug which the singer accepted.
"This is Matt. Matt–"
"We've met before," Matt said and Sebastian smiled, coming in for a side hug. He knew Matt quite decently, being in the same industry. Although he didn't know he was friends with Lorraine Acker.
"Where's Ivey?"
"Upstairs."
"Okay, so, let's go upstairs."
Considering the two people in their swimsuits, he figured out that by upstairs they ment a terrace pool.
"Bro, I can give you my spare swim ware if you want?" Matt asked.
"uh..sure."
With that, they all went upstairs.
To say the least, Sebastian was expecting a freak show of cigarettes, alcohol and weed. And he was totally down for it. He could even imagine Lorraine smoking weed like an addict. And yes there was, but it wasn't as dramatic as he thought.
Another blonde woman was swimming in the pool. And Sebastian figured out she was Ivey. Matt came towards him with a pair of swimwear shorts in his hands and handed it to him.
"You can have the guest room. straight and right."
Sebastian nodded and left. After getting changed, he again came outside. The cold breeze hitting him, now, that he was almost naked. Everyone was sitting on a bench with glasses of whiskey in their hands, chatting, except for Lorraine. Ana looked at him then waved her hand signalling him to come towards them and so he does, going there and sitting beside Matt.
"Where is Lorraine?" He asked.
"She is changing," Matt answered, Sebastian nodded.
"Too surprised to be here, aye?" Matt chuckled. "Bet she didn't even ask you to drop her here."
Sebastian chuckled at the accuracy. "She didn't."
"You seem to don't mind."
The singer paused for a moment before answering. "Isn't it a privilege?"
"Coming from the legend himself," Matt smirked and Sebastian just gave him a soft smile. He really wasn't used to people calling him a legend. He tend to stay grounded, very unlike Lorraine.
Matt offered him a glass of whiskey and he gladly took it, relishing on the warmth that shot through him. A few more sips as he interacted with the two women and Matt. Ana was sort of childish and giggly while he got to know Ivey was Matt's girlfriend.
Both Ana and Ivey were pale, the difference was Ana acted like a 10-year-old and she was a sultry drunk. Whereas Ivey - although having a baby face and a cute nose scrunch - her eyes were strong and bold and her intelligent answers just impressed the newbie more and more.
He was having a good time, they were quite easy going. But his attention averted towards Lorraine when she made her way towards the pool, in her bikini. Sebastian's throat felt dry. He was instantly reminded of her pretty lips locked with that woman.
He wanted to be in her place. Period.
"Shit." He cursed under his breath when she dived into the pool and came back with her hair sticking back, her golden skin dripping water droplets.
"I think we should go too," Ana said and Sebastian keenly agreed. Diving into the hot water of the pool. He was thankful they had fixed the temperature or he'd be freezing.
Upon the closer look, he could see Lorraine's nude lipstick still over her lips, and they were wet. And Sebastian wanted to ruin the damn lipstick.
The music was on now. It felt comfortable here. Somewhat like a break from reality. They gathered in a circle, clinking their wine glasses together.
"Cheers to..."
"Lorraine's victory."
Sebastian's eyes wandered towards her and saw her smirking. Queen. He decided. Some maids stood at the edges of the pool, holding nuggets and fancy salads, which Sebastian was very thankful for as he hadn't eaten since noon.
Swimming in the pool, chit-chatting occasionally. It was quite fun. Matt and Ivey were making out in the corner of the pool. Ana was talking to someone on the phone, sitting at one of the benches.
The only person left was Lorraine. Who right now, was sitting at the corner of the pool, her legs dipped in the pool, getting high on weeds. She looked at him and a smirk formed on her lips. Sebastian's lower abdomen churned uncontrollably, heating up.
He just...liked the way she was. She was intoxicating, confident, bold. It fueled Sebastian. He found this wickedness in her that he wanted to experience. Felt intrigued.
She signalled him to come towards her with her hand. A sly smirk spread across his lips and he swam towards her. He stood in front of her. Too close.
"Hello, Beautiful."
He could sense how high she was, and considering his own drunk state, the idea of playing a little sounded good to him.
"Want some?" She offered, showing him the weed wrap. Sebastian smirked, a scoff escaping his lips. He took the roll from Lorraine's hand, tugging it in between his lips with a smirk.
"If that's how you celebrate your victory." He said before sucking in, the first drag hit him right in the head, his eyes rolling back at the blankness, the way his head spun at the intoxication. He exhaled, letting out puffs of smoke and relished at how impressed she looked.
She laughed as Sebastian took the second drag, the water around him helping him in not feeling his body. He handed the roll back to Lorraine and she scoffed.
"Done in two drags, old man?"
He just rolled his eyes. "I brought you here and this is how you thank me?" He husked, tugging at her hips so that he was between her legs, suddenly feeling courageous.
"How am I supposed to thank you?" She whispered and Sebastian's gaze trailed down to her lips as he took her chin in between his forefinger and thumb.
"How about using this pretty mouth?" He questioned in barely more than a whisper.
As if she was drowning deep inside him, Lorraine was leaning in. God, he was addicting, alluring, enchanting. Whatever words she could use were less for him. He had something about his aura, his elegant physique, the way he answered as if he knew just the right thing to say. Just the right thing which would intrigue her, make her stomach burn.
"Raine!"
Sebastian came back to his senses and he quickly snapped his head towards the person who oh-so-nicely destroyed the fucking moment.
Lorraine growled annoyingly. "What is it?"
"Someone wants to talk to you." She waved a phone in her hand. "And it's important, trust me!"
Lorraine looked back at Sebastian, her whole body on fire. She handed him the roll of weed, winking at him before moving back and going towards Ana, talking to Ana, before taking the phone from her hand.
Ana looked at Sebastian awkwardly and he realized that they might have kissed right now in front of her. He gave her an awkward smile and looked away, noticing now that Matt and Ivey had left.
Lorraine went towards Ana with an inevitable sulk on her face. Ana was officially the biggest cockblocker of the planet. "You know what you did was illegal right?" Lorraine said as Ana winked sheepishly. "Illegal goes for your brother." She answered, handing Lorraine her phone. Lorraine smiled secretly at the mention of her brother, wearing the bathrobe a maid had handed her on the way before pressing the phone to her ear and walking away to the corner. "I'm way too high for this, little one." She groaned out on the phone. "Couldn't you celebrate your Oscar victory sober?" Her brother joked as she chuckled breathily. "Don'
After dressing up, both Sebastian and Lorraine went downstairs to have breakfast. Sebastian didn't know what to expect from the lot, they have had fun last night but everyone was high, now they were sober and most probably awkward.Well, Sebastian was proven wrong.Although they sat in silence for some initial minutes, focusing on eating rather than talking before Ana interrupted."Sebastian?"Sebastian looked up from his breakfast to face Ana, giving her a questioning gaze."You live with your brothers don't you?" She asked, big eyes blown wide comically in awe.Sebastian didn't know where she was leading from this question but still answered."Mhm, makes our work easy.""Woah!" She exclaimed before looking towards Lorraine who was sitting beside Sebastian, minding her own business and not looking up. "Must you not aspire something from S
Lorraine's favourite thing during the journey of making a movie was the memories she made with her star cast and all the crew. She learnt a lot from all the senior actors, they laughed, danced and all the tiredness just seemed worth it. She'd smile so genuinely, her heart would warm when her cast would surprise her with a cake on her birthday on the set. It was her home. It was the best place she could ever wish for.Hollywood was a place that made her feel that it was worth it to step out and do something thrilling and totally out of her comfort zone. She could even dare to say that her assistant and her friends from the film industry had better memories with her than Matt, Ivey and Ana.Although, what's a celebrity without tea? What's a celebrity without a few scandals and downfalls? She was never the one to give up. But now she was doubting too, with each 'one more shot' the director said. 5 years to th
Lorraine and Sebastian talk. They talk a lot. It's like a daily chore for her now, to talk with him for hours. Because he's so... attractive. He's that guy she imagines who's elegant and sophisticated but wild and crazy at the same time. He's the guy she fantasizes about midnight driving in a Ferrari. Then stopping at the Hollywood hills to watch LA gleaming along with a bottle of beer and much laughter. Yes, they had decided on that too over their one of many late-night calls. She's even met the rest of his group on face timing a couple of times. Bad days are the ones when she can't talk to him due to her late-night shifts, same goes for him. Today, she was exhausted. She was still on the set, it was noon and the heat was really going to be the death of her. Lorraine was spoilt by her own money, and she worked her ass off to earn it. This day was the hardest day of her life, and this movie was the most ch
Sebastian was in the recording studio, having a run in with his producer about how the drop beat of the title track of their upcoming album wasn't ear catching enough when his phone rung in the pocket of his jeans. His attention averted there, he told the producer to excuse him before seeing the collar ID. He immediately swiped the answer button. "Lorraine, just a second." He quickly muttered, muting the call and standing up from his chair."You two seem to be getting really close?" His manager commented."None," Sebastian pointed at his manager, glaring at him with raised eyebrows. "Of your business."Sebastian quickly piped before running off to outside of the studio to have some privacy. He checked if any cameras were rolling and sighed in relief when there weren't. He answered the call."You were saying–?""No, no, Iv
Lorraine stepped into the luxury Ana had booked in Las Vegas. Her friends, or should she say 'party friends' along with her reached here safely and Sebastian came an hour later than them.To her surprise, his look was changed from the last time she saw him. Her hair were dyed silver now and was wearing casuals. It was hilarious how hard he was trying to not get noticed. Thankfully, he reached to the hotel unnoticed. She had insisted her friends to take him with them because she wanted to see him badly, Duh.Not that they didn't want to tag him along, the last time he had came there was a blast to the party. They had all enjoyed his company and all but there was this feeling to Lorraine, she felt jittery all over. She dozed off in his thoughts, it was happening quite a lot these days. He was contagious. In a healthy way or not, she didn't know.Sure he'd be less toxic than me.
Lorraine's heels clicked the floor in perfect tuts as she legged through the deserted corridor, her skin prickling hot because she knew he was analysing her body from behind with that drowning gaze of his. She turned around to look at him, eyes sultry and heavy from the alcohol as she opened the door of the last gate of the corridor with her key card in one swift swipe. It was something addicting in the way he caught her lips. Sebastian's lips tasted of champagne and Lorraine grazed her tongue ever so lightly to savour it, her nails digging into his nape as he held her firmly against himself, pushing her on the wall and increasing the pace of his lips. Lorraine's reflex was instant when she gripped his shoulders and switched the positions, making Sebastian lean against the wall. This was the thing about Lorraine, one of the first things that caught Sebastian's eyes, while most women wanted Sebastian to take the
The next morning, Lorraine had a major hungover. Her head thumped with migraine and she felt jittery all over. Nauseous in the worst way possible as she refused to get out of the bed.She groaned when someone knocked on the door, burying herself deeper into the sheets. She didn't sit up until the the person knocked for the third time on the door. She was a wild mess, her hair was frizzy and her fans just won't believe it was the same person who was always so glammed up."Lorraine, are you there?"Her heart started beating rapidly, almost as if it would jump out of her chest by just his voice. By just the fact that he was near, her breathing decreased, skin crawling in fear. This was pathetic to such extremes, she hated feeling so helpless. But she just blankly stared ahead of her, not responding.Sebastian kept knocking without getting an answer, feeling like the most ignored person of the
Lorraine stood by the glass window, a cup of coffee in her hand, a cigarette tucked between her lips. She didn't go back to Los Angeles, she came to her apartment in New York since Sebastian was here. She said she didn't wanna go back to Los Angeles so she came where he was. Sebastian was yet to know what happened back in her home town. She had been weirdly silent since she came, which was scary but Sebastian decided he was just gonna stay by her side until she decided to speak up.The cup of coffee was empty now and Sebastian lost track of time. She had just been standing there since so long. His chest was clenching badly at the sight of her and questions were storming in his mind. Sebastian went towards her, staring at her face. The city lights gleamed in her eyes as she stared at the view, her face painted with hues of blue and gold. But her expressions remained a void of emotions, which bothered Sebastian.Sebastian gently touched her hand, catching her attention as she flinched
Stepping into her hometown was nauseating, to say the least. She hated everything about it.Her hometown was very different from Los Angeles, it was smaller, greener. One could even be fooled into thinking it was liberating, wide spaces, flower gardens, the kind where one wants to elope with their lover. Perhaps it was, it could have been, at least. But the air reminded her of how it stung against her cuts. It was famous for its food, Lorraine thought perhaps that was the reason she was never big on eating.Coming here after ten years...Lorraine almost thought that it was a mistake, and all she wanted to do was turn around and get on her jet once again, flying back home. But in a twisted way, it was also kind of uplifting how she had rose from the ashes and had come back ten times stronger than before, only to mock and spit on the godforsaken land.Lorraine refused to meet her mother at her house, so they arranged the meeting in her office."Raine," The woman averted her head to the s
Xander had never seen a man so beautiful before in his life. Given, that no one could possibly be more gorgeous in a room where Xander existed, alluring and ethereal, God's finest piece of craft. But these Acker siblings had these eyes...these pair of champagne eyes that looked like would drip honey any moment as if those pair of hazy orbs were to give the elixir of eternity in the form of tears. But they could also very much drown you, one dip in the lake and the marines would be clutching your ankle and pulling you downwards in the depths of blue.So when Tom Acker cornered him against a wall and openly flirt with him- was Xander supposed to breathe? He supposed not. At least, he could not."I know you get this a lot but- you're the most charming person I've ever met."Xander raised his chin up and met the boy's eyes with his hooded ones."I get that a million times per hour.""Of course you do."Xander hummed. Tom wouldn't have been too old. On the contrary, he might have been too
Once upon a time, Lorraine Acker was a victim. With glinting eyes so big and always wide open to take in her world. Curious. Curious about everything, eyebrows always raised.About a decade ago or so.Once upon a time, Lorraine was helpless and naïve. Oh so naïve. She latched onto any but of comfort she could get. Trusted so easily. Easily enough to get hurt."You're with new bruises."Lorraine lifted her head from her knees, looking at the man in front of her. She rolled her eyes, pressing her cheek to her knee instead and drawing her legs closer towards her chest as a stray tear rolled down the bridge of her nose."That's not news now, is it?" She retorted, voice scraped like shards of glass which somehow made the man in front of get wince. She shouldn't be sitting here, it was fucking pathetic to sit in the middle of the corridor of her house. The maids don't judge but it made her feel weak. She was weak, though. That wasn't news either. The man in front of her was way older. Clad
Watching Tom smoke is not what Lorraine appreciated to see, at all. She hated it, even. But joined him nonetheless."You're a fucking sportsman and you're smoking Winchester, have shame." She commented. "I'm a sportsman with trauma, fucking cut some slack." Tom retorted, eyes sweeping over the water as they both stand at the edge of the yacht. "Besides, you're an actress."Lorraine rolled her eyes. "Hollywood is built on substances. The streets are full of them."Tom hummed, looking down, where the water sprayed in foam due to the motor of the yacht."I feel like–" he said. "I feel like sometimes we sound like him. When he talked about business y'know?""No." Lorraine replied instantly. "No, we're nothing like him. Nothing. He's a sick man. God knows I wish death upon him everyday."Tom places the cigar between his lips again, sucks in and breaths out puffs of smoke."Mommy dearest is selling the business for good."Lorraine furrowed her eyebrows."I thought the will was on you." She
"Lorraine, gorgeous, I love you. I really love you." Sebastian said. "But it's so fucking weird to hold an Oscar in your hand and go to your birthday party like you're holding a cheap beer bottle."Lorraine rolled her eyes, pulling a little on her boyfriend's hand as they entered Lorraine's yacht.Yes, it was her birthday. And she had never known how to feel about birthdays.Materialism was one thing but birthdays usually scared her. It felt like...why did they even come every year? She felt like shit at those days. She was usually filled with guilt upto her neck on her birthdays. It wasn't that her birthday wasn't celebrated nicely. It was just that...her mother's birthday wasn't. A part of her was vivid at her mother, always will be. For not fighting for her when she was dying. Not fighting for her when she had jumped in the fire to save her life. But a part of her also pitied her.Endlessly.Because...She had always been a kind woman. Too kind. So much so that it became her weakne
Looking out of the taxi window, Lorraine took in the fresh air of Busan. Even though it was early winter approaching, the air was still a little wet, sticking to her skin. The city lights that glimmered as they drove onto the bridge were breathtaking. But it did less to settle Lorraine's anxiousness.Fuck, why wouldn't she be anxious? When Sebastian had suddenly dropped the plan of making her meet his parents. She wanted to. She had wanted to meet his family ever since he had mentioned it. It felt very intimate and personal. But...But.But Lorraine was good at everything.Lorraine was good at anything and everything except for when it came to...families. Past was proof. Her encounters with families had been nothing but a short of... destruction. Knowing how much it meant to Sebastian, she was spiralling. She sat at the corner of the backseat, silently basking in the night breezes as the car drove by. She could see the sea."You're still worried."Sebastian's words cut through the sil
Autumn was to an end by the time Sebastian and Lorraine's– along with everyone else's work schedules were coming to a pause. The recently aired news of the power couple, Matt and Ivey being pregnant was blowing up the internet.Sebastian had been on about buying a new house for her and Lorraine in New York for whenever she comes. But she knew that was one of his sneaky tricks to make her come to New York as often as she could. With everyone's thriving success because of their immense hardworking, everyone felt overjoyed. Sebastian and Lorraine felt at peace. Though not seeing each other for months didn't help but doing what they loved and being into their regular schedule gave them inner serenity. The Phoenix brothers had been flying from one country to another for their world tours, receiving the love they didn't even know they deserved. They were sure that every one cried at least once during the world tour. Sebastian cried thrice, for he had never expected he would have dated anyon
Ah, Lorraine really didn't want to. There was no part of Lorraine's job that she didn't like with her every heartstring. But some interviews slightly...just slightly popped the veins in her neck. Sometimes they were too offensive, too open, too disrespectful. She wouldn't blame all the interviews. Yes, asking questions about herself and her life was one thing, but going way too personal was another. Sometimes it would be her bra or the edited nude that went viral. Anything offensive to ruin her day. She didn't understand what they got from asking these questions.Yes, she knew that more than half of the world wanted to have sex with her and people were disgusting pieces of shit so fake pornographies, obsessive behaviour she almost expected. She didn't approve, but she knew what to expect from Hollywood. It was safe to say that Sebastian just happened to be one of those personal things. It wasn't like she didn't want to speak about him at all, she just didn't know what boundaries t
